    Cool stat: Including playoffs Bombers are 7-6 against the Riders at the Toilet Bowl. Wins in 17 opener, 18 WSF, 19 WF, 21/22/24 LDC games and a regular season game in 2023 as well. Sask has won the 17-19 LDCs, Oct/19 and the game this august.

    Yeah, I bought into Macksymic too from 2022. I’ll happily admit to being wrong. but he’s clearly one dimensional. Multiple RB’s and can’t/won’t run the ball. If the QB can’t hit a bunch of deep shots, they have no answers.

    It’s wild how successful Mike Reilly was in his short time as HC, and he’s barely mentioned with the other great coaches. I think we would have won at least one more cup had he stuck around, his departure really hurt the club.

    Yeah, that’s the type of versatility the club loves too. If he can keep it up in the heavy set he could carve out a nice career as 2-way depth, or (maybe jumping the gun a bit) even grow into a serviceable starting OL in a few years.

    Funny you say that, when Strev is in they literally run the offence we had in pewee/minor bantam back in the 90s. 7 on the line with a fullback and QB option 90% of plays.
