One of my favorite games was the Banjo Bowl ...
-
Our D also made BLM's day rather uncomfortable ...
-
Can't forget Demski ...
-
Adams had a nice game too ...

Hope to see some Woli magic tomorrow ...

Okay, it's time to start focusing all that positive energy and stream it over to our team for the WF tomorrow in Regina. I predict that the team we saw in the second half of the Calgary game is the team we will see from here on out. That team is unbeatable and is the one that will hoist the Cup and end the drought. Go Bombers Go!

Petermann is fast but I don't think he's as fast as Demski. Good YAC player. It would be nice to see Petermann get some touches.

Oh great! Just what I need. More adrenaline. My heart is likely to explode soon as it is. Now I have to endure a countdown. Thanks a lot!

Oh. I thought it was a glitch in the Matrix over at your place.

I just have to say, this made me laugh out loud multiple times. Well done.

Agree. Nothing worse than hand or foot pain.

Good stuff. This makes us appreciate all the more the work you put in to keep MBB humming along and purring like a kitten. Thanks again.

Well, the data is likely stored in a MYSQL (or similar) database and backing up something like that really is trivial. But, did anyone do it? Even an old backup will at least have preserved most of the users. It's not a big deal to then import that data into the new CMS. You might be pleasantly surprised when it does come back online. Hope so anyway.👍🏽

Speaking of security, has anyone considered that it may have been hacked? Rich can probably explain this better than I can since he's a pro but basically what happens is that a site will get hacked and the hacker encrypts the data and then offers a key to un-encrypt the data for a fee. It's basically extortion. When these sorts of things happen the host site rarely reports it to their users out of embarrassment. No site wants to admit they've been hacked and their data compromised. A reliable backup should have been installed by now, provided they have been backing up the site. Worse case scenario if there is no reliable backup of the site's data would then be to install fresh CMS and start all over including all users recreating their accounts and everyone set to zero post count. A daunting proposition. Let's hope it hasn't come to that.

Yep. Some folks on here think that they hate the Riders because of Shivers and whatnot but the trauma of losing that game, the PTSD, the intense pain and humility, causes a hate that is on a different level. When I am reminded of '72 that hate rises up from a place that is very dark. Nothing has ever erased that hate. I hate everything about that team. I hated Ron Lancaster and George Reed. I hated the officials for that holding call (or was it No Yards)? I hated Richardson for that dropped pass in the end zone. I hated the Riders for blowing out MLB Mickey Doyle's knee. Just so much hate. Every time we beat that team I want to beat them again, and again, and again. Every time we lose to that team, it's '72 all over again. Speedflex knows exactly what I mean and out of all of you he may be the only one that truly understands. Yeah, I know, it's just a football game. Just a dumb football game. But no game against Saskatchewan is just a game. It's personal with that team. The hate is real and it never leaves you. Never. If I had one football wish, it would be to play Saskatchewan every game and to beat them mercilessly every game. Every playoff game would be against them too and we would win all of them. The WSF would be against Saskatchewan, as would the WF, and finally the Grey cup. We would win every game every time and I'd still hate them.

I'll take Group A for $500, Alex.

Gawd I love those uniforms.

That's O'Shea's job. He has to make sure Lapo doesn't pull a Lapo.

Me either. One of the guys showed up to work with a Riders jersey on. I went over to him and said, "Are you a Riders fan"? He said, "No, I don't even follow the CFL. I just saw it on sale and had heard about the Riders so I bought it". I told him, "Big mistake! They're the most hated team in the league. Don't be caught dead wearing that jersey ever again. Better yet, give it to me and I'll burn it for you". He looked at me a little suspiciously but has never worn that jersey to work since. He and I both live and work in Toronto. LOL! No one here needs to thank me. I'm just performing my duty as a Bomber fan and a Rider hater. Ain't no big thing.

Speedflex and I come from the same generation and I share the pain of that 1972 loss. We have discussed it many times. We had so many great players -- Don Jonas, Mack Herron, Jim Thorpe, Bob Larose, Mickey Doyle, Grady Cavness, etc. I was absolutely totally convinced we would win that game having built what seemed to be a big lead. The second half of that game was the most cruel, dismal, brutal loss to live through that I still cannot describe the depths of that pain. I have hated the Riders ever since. Winning Grey Cups is the best but nothing tastes as sweet as beating that team.

You all need to apologize to Paul LaPolice.

That was for Eric Rogers and Calgary knew it. We made them pay the ultimate price for their cocky arrogance and it was indeed a dish best served on a cold day. I just noticed, it looks like he was taking that wide and it got closed off so he took it up the middle and turned on the jets. Also watch Streveler's block on Casher. Casher completely gives up trying to get past Streveler. He knows he is going nowhere. -
It might depend on if we need to come from behind or not. Nichols is good but what he was not good at is bringing us back from behind to win games. Strevs and Zach have both shown an ability to do that so if we are behind and need to come back to win I'd take either Strevs or Zach over Nichols every time.
