  1. He caught that. Good call. Wasn't a catch on replay
  2. Nichols has 40 yards passing
  3. Offense needs to respond. 27 yards passing so far.
  4. Sayles takes too many penalties
  5. Arbuckle is the next CFL qb. He's better than Streveler
  6. Or Lapo/Nichols need to actually drive 90 yards for once instead of being gifted short fields all night
  7. This is how I see it as well. Nichols is Glenn 2.0. If he has a good team he'll go over .500 perennially, and that's near impossible for a coaching staff to give up on. (As a fan as well, i never want to re-live 3-15) To me, Glenn had much better accuracy, a quicker release but suuuuucked in cold weather and under pressure. Nichols, in my opinion has proven that he can perform in the cold, he can be mentally tough, but there's just absolutely no consistency. Also he's terrible at mid range throws and just plain misses his targets way too often.
  8. We're still a contender. Relax.
  9. Up by 6 with 90 seconds left. Huge turnover by the D and Nichols goes two and out. This loss is on Nichols and O'shea
  10. They're an absolute brick wall against the run. Less flashy, but way more impactful!
  11. I'm not a Nichols fan, but it's nice to see him placing the blame on himself. In years past he finger pointed and whined and blamed everyone else when things were his fault. Could be a sign of maturity as a starter. Eat it, move on.
  12. Nobody could hold on to the ball and Nichols sucked. It was bound to happen. The difference now is we have a team that'll bounce back - including Nichols. 5-1. Ain't shook
  13. Usually no. But Mike O'shea is a unique case. The guy lived and breathed Argo football for two decades. He owes us nothing. He's been instrumental in turning this franchise around from the laughing stock to an elite team and destination. O'shea is loyal and won't renege on the team, but if the HC job is open in Toronto this offseason I could absolutely see him leaving.
  14. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/bombers-extend-contracts-of-walters-oshea-405623896.html Walters is signed through 2020, O'shea's ends this offseason. I think we need to lock up O'shea before he bolts for the argos HC job. I mean, that has to be his dream job.
  15. 15ish other players and they started it. Matthews isn't laying charges because he can't. He started a brawl. He needed to be tazed so first responders could perform first aid.
  16. He started a 40 person fight and had to be tazed by police after being stabbed lol
  17. "Matthews was involved in a nightclub fight" 12 hours later "It was worse than I originally thought" *report comes out he was stabbed in a fight downtown* "Naw, it was vague. He wasn't right" Lol okay.
  18. Goddam right!
  19. A great injustice was served to me. YOU'LL ALL RUE THE DAY!
  20. It's an awesome Mexican place that turns into a night club, if that's your scene.
  21. Wait till my father hears of this, matthews!!
  22. Pionk was a young d-man carrying around the corpse of Staal at 23 years old. It was akin to when Trouba was stapled to Mark Stuart. Pionk will be fine when he's playing on an actual good team with a puck-moving partner.
  23. This will end up being bigger news than originally thought.
  24. I stabbed him myself!
  25. But wouldn't that be more reflective of the management in place? O'shea doesn't seem like the kind of guy to allow that type of player to stay on the team.
