  1. There is a big difference between IF & WHEN. You obviously expect they'll leave.
  2. So Tburg… Dieter Brock had a huge knee brace. I can mention Brock now, can't I? Or is it still unfair to compare Nichols little knee injury to Brock's big one as I know a knee injury on a great player like Brock is huge compared to a little knee injury on a so called unimportant journeyman qb as you think Nichols is. With greatness comes greatness in knee injuries.
  3. That's an even more ridiculous back pedaling comment. So, just when do you expect them to leave?
  4. Well, aren't you a ray of sunshine on a rainy day. Why would you even post such nonsense? Why do you think the Jets are shedding contracts & didn't sign Stasny??
  5. I just hope the Bomber braintrust hasn't panicked. If Nichols gets hurt again & is gone for the season there will be hell to pay. I'd have preferred they wait a couple more weeks but they should know if he's physically ready or not.
  6. If Kent Hehr can be thrown out of cabinet for saying inappropriate things to women then a grope should be resign worthy. Making 2 federal Liberal MP's resign from caucus for sexual misbehaviour. All the while claiming to be standing up for women. That's the standards Trudeau has set & he should be forced to live by that. He should do the right thing & resign as Prime Minister. I really believe Trudeau is a dead man walking going into the final year of his mandate.
  7. Whether Trudeau was a private citizen or politician, it shouldn't matter as sexual assault is sexual assault. I think that is TUP's position & if it is I agree.
  8. What about the Kent Hehr stories? He had to resign as a cabinet minister & then was suspended from caucus while there was an "investigation". All Hehr did was make lewd comments but he didn't grope anyone. Using Trudeau's standards he should resign as Prime Minister. But he won't.
  9. Yeah, there are exceptions like successful big market NBA teams. It still boggles the mind that Sacramento, Oklahoma City, Charlotte, New Orleans or Portland have teams worth more than most NHL teams.
  10. I've always felt Bridge is overrated. He hasn't done much during his time in the CFL. I think Jones tries to groom Watford to take over if Bridge struggles again. I think Watford has a bigger upside. He's a rookie & he played to the same level as Bridge. That ain't saying much but it was a fact. So then, why not play the kid?
  11. Does Schrodinger's Cat know defense? Does he want a DC job with the Bombers??
  12. NBA franchises with a few exceptions are generally are valued nearly twice as much as NHL franchises. Not including the Rangers, Flyers, Blackhawks & Maple Leafs. But their salary structures for 12 players is crazy.
  13. I absolutely agree but Trudeau's teflon. The media could break him if they wanted to. I don't think they want to as he restored funding to the CBC. Look what they did to Ontario PC leader Patrick Brown. The media destroyed him because he's Conservative.
  14. The liberal media in this country who love Trudeau will protect him so he won't resign.
  15. Leafs sign Tavares but lose a 35 goal scorer in JVR so addition by subtraction as I see it.
  16. With Stasny gone, that number must be up to $32 million now.
  17. Our HC doesn't operate like that. I can't see him firing Hall during the season out of respect just because he has played & coached in the CFL for decades. He did fire his STC in 2014 but he was a former U Sports head coach in his first season with the Bombers. No, a Hall firing would be handled a lot differently. We're stuck with the guy, unfortunately.
  18. Okay, I admit I'm not a hockey expert like some of you guys here. Football is my game & hockey is more of a sidetrack for me but I do love the Jets. That's why I don't engage in much discussion here. So then, someone please explain to me.... According to Cap Geek, before Stasny left we had $28 million in cap space. Only the NY Islanders were lower at $32 million. All in US $$ numbers. Now Stasny is gone. Just how are we up against the cap even if we have some UFA's like Trouba to sign? The salary cap is set at $79 million US next season. How are we up against the cap exactly???
  19. If you're Wally Buono, do you laugh, get angry or think he should have retired a year ago?
  20. I bet the Man Love from Suitor must have been torturous.
  21. It would be better but O'Shea kept Hall because of some warped sense of loyalty to the guy. Not because he did a good job. We all knew this would happen with Hall as DC. Everyone knew it except Miller,Walters & Osh. Just how the hell can that be? Players have to perform or they're gone. Why shouldn't it be the same for crappy assistants or coordinators?
  22. Read again, it said "he did not suffer". Not that he died peacefully.
