  1. The Story of George Jones. His struggle with drug addictions, alcoholism, four wives then put in straight jackets & committed to mental institutions more than once on both counts. Missed so many shows because of drugs & alcohol he was nicknamed "No Show Jones" & was sued for millions by angry promoters. From multi millionaire & fame to bankruptcy & homelessness. Then makes the huge comeback with He Stopped Loving Her Today in 1980. That is just unbelievable stuff.
  2. As well as being on a good team like the one we have now. Those 2014 & 15 teams were horrendous.
  3. No. Against the rules. The 2 qb rule has been around for a few years. Surprised more fans don't know about it.
  4. If O'Shea starts Streveler & keeps Collaros on the bench & we lose? Gonna be hell to pay. The way it should be is Collaros starts, Streveler comes in on short Yardage & goal line & stays in & has a package of plays he runs. Otherwise, the game is for Collaros to win.
  5. These players that wear their helmets loose like that are going to have a hard time proving negligence on their team's or helmet manufacturer when they were negligent themselves as players. I'd like to see all players tighten their helmets & think of their safety & what that means to their quality of life & their families in the future.
  6. Judging by the press release, I doubt if June Jones will pay Jeremiah Masoli anywhere near what he'll get to play up here.
  7. Could Noeller be so sensitive about old age because maybe, just maybe he's worried about getting old? Pretty soon the only thing Noeller will worry about is how close he is to a bathroom & can he make it in time?
  8. Not you going commando, I can assure you.
  9. That's something I choose to not even visualize.
  10. Love, love , love the Jets uniforms, wow. And the Flames with their 89 throwback uniform looked great as well. I have the 2016 Heritage jersey with Hedberg's name on the back. Gonna have to get this year's one as well.
  11. What wrestler used the WWE to parlay his wrestling career into an acting career where he's now worth $225 million dollars? And he's black??? If ya smell what The Rock is cooking?
  12. Marve with his bad knees was doomed. Great heart & talent but physically he never should have been even playing.
  13. I look at it the opposite way. Players wear less than they did in Brock & Clements time. Shoulder pads are way smaller. There's not a lot of protection on the shoulder & upper arms with shoulder pads because the players like to show off their tats & guns nowadays. Then the helmets. They pop on & off like baseball caps. Most aren't properly inflated because if they were they wouldn't come of the way they do. I watched the Chiefs qb Matt Moore come off the field yesterday & he took off his helmet. It was on tight & he was grimacing while taking it of slowly. It didn't come off easily. That meant it was properly inflated & giving him the best protection possible. Helmets shouldn't come off like a cap. I think a lot of players love to show off how hard they work out & don't like tight helmets so they wear the equipment the way they want to. Leads to more injuries. That's my take.
  14. Every qb has receivers that drop his passes. It's part of the game. Please re-read my response to Noeller above, please. That's the post you should respond to, I think.
  15. Does Vince make him sit & sweat?
  16. It's his choice to pursue this matter the way he has chosen. When the virtue signallers have all gone away & he's wrestling somewhere then he'll have to deal with what happened. The WWE will just move on without him. Just like they've done with other wrestlers who were pissed off & left. Looks like the tee was a mistake by WWE marketing but he's chosen to go to war with the company.
  17. I just said he couldn't have made that play. Only a few qbs can do that. Nichols can't. Hell, Dieter Brock couldn't have made that throw. It takes a certain skill set to make a play like that. Russell Wilson made a similar play a couple of weeks ago. Flushed out of the pocket, rolled to his left under fierce pressure & threw the ball to the corner of the back of the end zone for a TD to Tyler Lockett. I thought he was throwing the ball away but somehow he saw Lockett running to the back of the end zone & he threw it in the only place he could have for a score. The Collaros throw was very similar except he scrambled & rolled to his right. The last Bomber qb I believe who could have made a similar type throw was Tom Clements as I saw him do stuff like that all the time. Scramble away from pressure & find a guy open with what looked like an impossible throw. That's what made guys like Clements special. That's all I was trying to say.
