That's a lifetime ago even if it's true. The NFL is a juggernaut. The NHL isn't. The CFL already competes with the NHL in weekends in October & November on weekends now anyway.

Why the CFL wants to compete with the NFL on Sundays during the playoffs make no sense. Plus not having the games on network tv like CTV really hurts. The goal should be maximum exposure for the CFL but I dunno the way this league is run.

Now that you say, I think he signed on with Scott Milanovich in Toronto as DC & then resigned. I hope his wife was okay. The man suffered enough here. He didn't need any more bad things in his life. Claybrooks, yeah. I don't think I've ever seen a HC look so lost.... errr... forgot Tim Burke. Like Burke, he never came back to the CFL. I think that tells you something right there. The jump from a coordinator to HC is huge. I don't think those 2 guys had any idea what they were getting themselves into at the time. And just how bad of an experience they had. I think Claybrooks may now be coaching in the BCFC somewhere.

The key here is good at his role. No idea if he can run a team instead of being part of one.
