If we had a player like Stove the past two years, I think we'd be talking about going for a record tying 5th straight GC. Instead, our D took a hit for some reason Walters, Osh & Hall never thought it a priority to upgrade our interior DL. I never understood the logic of doing absolutely nothing.

I think that the selections of Canadians were political anyway. Not always the best U Sport players went down for the game. Besides, why should an American Senior Bowl promote Canadian players over Americans? Bladek would be an upgrade over who we have now. He certainly would add more depth to our OL position.

The need to be a starter before we really know if he's ready may turn out to be a career killer for Brown. Who's to say if he signed a 1 year deal with the Bombers & continued to learn under Zach & Buck there may have been a better opportunity next season. I just see this guy as the 2024 version of Nick Arbuckle. Then there's Ottawa itself. That team & coaching staff is going to ruin him.

The Bombers did Brown no favours trading him to Ottawa. he had a chance to be a very good CFL qb but now he's in Ottawa's system. he'll be trotted out as the starter, beat up. spit out & fail. Just like every qb after Hank Burris that they've had. They've all been used & abused. That's just how that team rolls. Lousy coaching & lousy team. I'm sad we lost Dru Brown but I'm more sad that he ended up in Ottawa.

The best Left Tackle in the league & the guy who makes it possible for our hometown boy Brady to rush for 1,500 yards takes a paycut to help sign the young running back he blocks for. After the Oakland Raiders-Green Bay fiasco in 2018 with the field & moving the goalposts, I wonder if they'll do something with the goalposts so if an NFL exhibition game is ever played again they can move the goalposts without tearing up the field. Winnipeg is in Vikings territory so they could play a game up here.

I'm sad that Blue Bloods is ending. It was my favourite show & has been for years. It cleaned up on Friday nights for a decade & a half & allowed CBS to intro new shows on Friday nights ahead of it as it was an anchor for their programming on the worst evening for tv during the week. Like Magnum PI & later Fire Country. I hope Fridays become a wasteland for CBS now as it used to be before BB. As far as the Emmys & Academy Awards go, I'm not much of an awards show fan.

I think the writers & actors strike had a lot to do with it. People no longer care.

One thing I notice is how unhappy Jalen Hurts is all the time. Whenever the camera focuses on him when he's on the field, he's constantly shaking his head no in a very subtle way. You'd never notice it sitting in the stands but up close he just gives off these negative vibes. I think a lot of his teammates have given up on him.
