Glad you're not Mike O'Shea. He won't let his team think that they just need to show up while the Riders do their "We're Not Worthy" bow & the mighty Bombers beat them by 50 points. Reality is that you should always worry about your opponent to maintain that razor edge needed to win. The minute a team gets complacent is when injuries & losses happen. A coach once told me that you win & lose on 7 plays. If you make those plays you win as team. It was that new OC's call. What a dumbass. Dickenson was too worried about his field not lining up properly.... "Get back! Get back!!"

The thing is, he's never done this kind of thing before as a specialist. No qb goes to bed dreaming he'll be a short yardage in the CFL.

Did you see Dickenson\s reaction as TSN cut right to him as Harris was writhing in agony. He didn't even care his qb was hurt. Instead, telling his players on the field to "Get back!! Get Back!!" Didn't like the way they were lining up. What a strange response.

Just think how powerful we'll be when Lawler gets back... I've never said the word powerful before EVER... when describing any football offense. I've used words like explosive, dominant & exceptional. That's what we are, powerful. How do other defenses stop us??? Okay thanks but Locksley blew it. I have my doubts that Ford would do better than Cornelius. He missed nearly the entire season last year so he's really still a rookie.

They Elks have nothing else. Did you watch Ford on the goal line. Tippy toeing & running with no authority. He was a big part of why they couldn't score.

At the same time one huge positive was the crowd.. Near sellout from what I saw & having fun. At least TSN moved the mics away from those air horns. Let me give you 3 reasons: 1. NFL expands its rosters. both game day & practice. 2. USFL 3. XFL There's less talent available now. Not just at qb but every position.

Piggy will improve with more practice. I remember Prukopp wasn't that great either when he first started doing short yardage. No one has played qb with the dream of doing short yardage.

This I don't understand. We need a DE. He'd be part of the rotation. I don't get how you tie that all in with the DNA designation.

Steinhauer at one time had a terrific reputation as a great young coach. That he'd be a multiple GC winner by now & keep Hamilton on top for years. Well, that ship sailed after the disastrous 2022 season. He's just another head coach who had plenty of promise. Now, he may still deliver but as time goes on, it appears less & less. Or put another way, Osh was the head coach who was supposed to fail & not Steinhauer.
