I don't know?... I certainly didn't expect a double overtime win... but I did call a 5 point Bomber win, Montreal has always been a thorn in the side...

In my humblest opinion...
The West
-It's still Calgary's game to lose ~12 & 6 season.
-It's going to be the battle for 2nd between Wpg and BC, this should be good!
- EDM pulled off an " Error in judgment," but I think they will pull off 4rth in the west and be the crossover team again.
-I just can't see Jones setting Sask on fire this year. There are just too many holes to fill, defense looks like they will be better, there are some great receivers, but the QB situation, and a suspect O-Line. 5 and 13 is the best I can see here.
The East
- The east could be a battle between Ott and Ham. But then injuries happen. So I will reluctantly call this a Tigercat 1st with caveats.
-Toronto could pull a rabbit out their hat this season and pull off a 2nd place upset.
-I think Montreal is still a mess. It's (still ) rebuild time.

Let me know if he is planning to go on a cruise. I know some pirates.. ... from Saskatchewan... ...Just make sure he brings a lot of bling on the boat. It will be cheaper for me.

First, I'm not sure that I agree with this statement, Harris is not done yet and this is a great time to bring in a national to develop. I was wondering which way we might be going since we let Lochard go?
But I kind of think that with the strong showing from Johnny Augustine in the combine, I could see the Bombers taking him at 6th or 15th. He seems to be a highly rated prospect.

So , if the play offs were held now, we would be the cross over team. Edmonton plays the Argos next week, well we can make the "DUH' pick on that one already. The Riders are off to the winning Lions team, and it seems like Jones is in " let's see what kind of players we got" mindset (which I think is OK), so it's lookin' pretty good for BC. And now we are going to TD place to put the RBs in their place, I'm worried.

As far as the fan draw for this game, I believe that really this was the premier game of last weekend. The top dogs of their respective divisions going at it. It was a game that I was looking forward to (along with the BB @ Mont.). As far the mic'ing of coaches and players, people probably tuned in out of curiosity.

I was just wondering how you guys felt about the coaches and players being mic'ed-up for the Stamps @ Tigercats game?
Personally, I didn't care for it too much. I really believe that this is getting to be a bit too intrusive on the teams. It was tough to follow, the play by play guys would be yacking away, like they are supposed to do, then one of the mics would kick in and you miss the 2-3 words. Not that it really mattered, 99.9% of the fans (me Included) have no idea what they are calling anyway.
The ones who do understand and are able to figure this out are the opposing coaches, I certainly hope TSN does not want to carry on down this road. Let the guys play.

No, we would never do anything like that! We would never hire managers who mess with salaries so we can't keep premier players (Taman). We would never release proven commodities so we could bring in some flash in the pan (Kelly). We would never let someone decimate our Canadian talent because well, I don't know how that happened (Mack). We're smarter than that... ... now.
Sorry Ripper, this could get real ugly before it gets better.

Artie Johnson passed away on July 3 of this year. I enjoyed watching him on "Rowan and Martins Laugh In". Boy that was a long time ago.
