I can't wait for Trump on Hannity after the election, attacking the GOP, blaming them for his defeat. Hannity won't know what to do with both his parents fighting, having to choose who to live with after the divorce.

This has become a gongshow and the Gov'ts unwillingness to do anything about it tells you a lot about them. Blame everyone else is the PCs motto. Oh, I agree. They've been packing the stands and it's a mess. But, I think Saban, himself, has been a very good leader on the issue.

Trump questioned whether or not he qualified to be President because he was born in Canada, which is obviously quite different from suggesting that Obama was lying about where he was born, saying that he was born in Kenya. (Because he's black and should never have been voted president) No one has questioned where Cruz was born just whether or not it makes him ineligible to hold the office of President. Trying to compare the two is ridiculous alt-right stuff.

Who has been super serious and careful through the whole pandemic. He's been leading the way.

I'm not particularly worried inside the pool, it's the pool deck and change rooms that concern me.

My oldest was set to play flag football in spring, youngest soccer. Both were expected to play basketball this fall along with indoor soccer (or something else). I bought a basketball net for them this year, which got good use. And, when the snow flies, I'll make them shovel and tell them it's training for something.

I know. It's really bad right now and it's not even cold. My kids are starting swimming next week. I'm getting apprehensive about sending them, balancing the need for physical activity and socialization with the risk of exposure. They've been doing dance for the past month and I'm very pleased with the precautions that have been implemented from their arrival to their departure. But, I could see them moving to online classes very soon.

It's not just the presidency at stake. Control of both Houses and state level elections too. The Governor of Texas is so worried about people voting that he limited the number of mail-in ballot boxes to one per county. The State Supreme Court upheld it because they're worried that Democrats are going to win some key races. It's voter suppression.

There is nothing too low for the GOP:

They're going to confirm someone with very little experience, who refuses to answer the simplest questions about law to a lifetime appointment position? When the GOP is decimated next month, they'll deserve it. And when the Dems expand the court because it's so overwhelmingly representative of the alt-right, Republicans will deserve that too. This is a "democracy" that actively tries to get as few people to vote as possible, where hours long lines to vote are common place, where the president encourages his armed supporters to "monitor" the elections and for racist terrorist cells to "stand by" for when he loses.

This thread is great. It shows how the two parties approach these issues. GOP - full steam ahead to push their own agenda. Democrats - inability to have a plan and to implement it.

We're going to have to move Roslo and Niku to add anyone else. Or, the best we'll be able to do is a $2M defender.
