Ukraine is not a NATO country. Russia is a nuclear capable country and you want to go and fight them? FFS. Appropriate and decisive sanctions would work. But, no one in Europe had the courage to do it. US doesn't either.

2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
JCon replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
XFL and NFL have an agreement to test new rules, develop coaches and test new equipment. It's all but a development league. Players development will follow, if the XFL succeeds. Young players want a path to the NFL. Spring leagues offer this. It's appealing for players. -

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I love that the Bombers get a deal but hate that an experienced player gets treated like that. But, they should fix it in the CBA. Get bonuses added to rookie deal if you gain measurable experience. Not a big bump but enough to reward them for experience. I don't want to go back to where the player holds the team hostage. Or, where the team holds the player hostage. -
I saw this being live-Tweeted today. Hilariously pathetic bunch of losers.

Realistically, when the Bombers drafted him, they thought he might get a look at the NFL and exhaust those options. This doesn't change the timeline for the Bombers. Same as Grey. But, I bet the Bombers didn't think they would lose two National OL in one year. Which? Rookie contracts? -

He'll make good money, comparable to what he gets up here, and STILL have a chance at an NFL camp. I don't think he was coming this year anyhow,if he has NFL opportunities, at least. -

All players had to sign a contract with the USFL in order to be eligible for their draft. The contract is a one-year deal but includes a team option for 2023, which means Dobson is now tied to the USFL for two seasons unless he is released. -
News is out and rather than letting Bob's thread become Derek's thread. I've made a new one. Let's get DT on here to explain himself.
-
Let's get DT on MBB.
-
Sure, but he's failed to build a winner after 10 years. The coach had to fire himself.
-
I would deal Scheif and do a rebuild. Wheeler if you can. Trade Copp, Statsny, DeMelo, etc. Get anything you can and do a quick rebuild with the young talent you have. Need a new GM and coach too.

Mulroney's gov't carefully crafted this legislation to replace the War Measures Act. It's a good piece of legislation, it's just too bad they had to enact it.

This will hurt Russians but not the oligarchs.

Let's hope this is nothing,

That is not a good match for Strevy. Fur coat in Florida? Bad idea. -
Science. Democracy.

Competent and intelligent but completely unable to produce or defend a policy position that does not lie in Provincial jurisdiction. They need good policy people in the party. Those who can articulate and structure an actual policy that the Fed NDP could enact if in gov't or push for in a minority gov't. They could quickly coalesce the left, with the Green's abandoning any reason, if they could just get it together.
-
It's a trick question because there are no conservatives left. The CPCs are not interested in governing or having ideas. They have nothing but cozying up to white supremacists and calling Trudeau bad. An actual policy? Heck no.
-
What do conservatives even stand for these days?

There is no "rampant" inflation. You can be afraid of whatever you want but there is no hyperinflation. Interest rates remain historically low and the supply chain issues, which drove inflation, are being resolved.

The money is in Europe. The Middle-Eastern money is in the US.
-
The money that flows through Europe is what matters. The US sanctions won't mean much as long as the oligarchs of Russia still play in Europe and launder their money there. Russia has had troops in Ukraine for 8 years. They're just carving off pieces, hoping to destabilize another region, and take over.
