  1. Things would be so much easier if both Ladd and Buff were signed, would add to there trade value.
  2. I get it everybody's a Blue Jay fan at the moment and that's great every one should cheer for who they want to but please don't compare the pride of a bunch of Canadian's playing and representing their country, to a southern ontario baseball team that has maybe 2 canadians on the team, i mean you got idiots on tv calling it the greatest sporting event ever.
  3. This is the first time since 1993 that they've made it to the AL Championship series. Of course they're excited. No a fan of this team, just seems like they argue every call on the field, every third strike, whine to the media when they lose and as much as the media might think just because they play in Toronto there not Canada's team. u might not like the jays but they showed parties across the country going on. You dont speak for canada Your right i don't but the media in Toronto would have you believe that every one is a die hard Blue Jays fan. Up until this year i would say that even in Toronto they really didn't care about the Blue Jays, they could hardly fill the Rogers Centre. They tried the same thing with the basketball team last year until they went out 4 straight and then dumped on them. Again just because there's 1 pro baseball team in Canada doesn't make them Canada's team.

  5. Goosen should be ready to play he has been here long enough and hopefully paid attention at practice. As for Picard probably wont be back next year and i'm okay with that.
  6. Curse of phil kessel
  7. At this time the ranking is about right.
  8. They do have lots of options at centre so you may be right for his development.
  9. Again he's not on the pp or pk so when there's lots of penalties to either teams his minutes will be a lot less
  10. If anybody was wondering about Ehlers, wonder no more the kid is good
  11. The game was reffed better when there was one referee not enough competent ones anymore.
  12. Smaller is better has also been proved in baseball, in the 70's everybody was building 60k and up, look at all the new baseball stadiums they are all under 50k. Only Coors field and Dodger stadium seat over 50k of all mlb stadiums. Even the older parks have been downsized.
  13. Most teams have only played 1 home game some still to play one. FLA/ARZ both sold out their home openers and they seem to be not bad teams to start the season, but there markets will decline in attendance as the season goes on.
  14. 5k more fans then Nassau. Barclay's seats 15,795 for hockey second smallest in the NHL, Nassau 16,170 . Revenue also very limited as the Brooklyn Nets are the main tenant. By the way attendance for today's game was 11,183.
  15. Can the Als win another game this year, not with that offence and Jim Popp should stop pretending to be a coach.
  16. Islanders always seem to give us grief hope for a better effort against the Rangers, Islanders going to barclay's was a bad idea.
  17. No way steer clear of this guy, issues have followed where ever he has gone.
  18. Second smallest NHL arena next to us, was built for basketball one end looks really weird, if they want to stay in NY really need to build something back in Long Island
  19. now that's a debut, lets see how he kicks outdoors
  20. Every team from Toronto is Canada's team, yeah right they wish.
  21. Lots of Jets played well tonight but Stafford was solid as was Burmi though he will still frustrate us at times. Pavs kept us in it in the first and wasvery good the rest of the game. Defense needs to tighten it up, Lowry is going to a tough guy for other teams to play against. Ehlers is fast and slick. Thorbs played well as did Copp. Trouba's a beast even though he plays with a boat anchor.
  22. Very tentative play by the jets penalties are going to bite them in the ass, pavs solid
  23. Every time Mulcair speaks he just sounds so forced, contrived almost like even he doesn't believe what he's saying. Goodbye to him and good riddance to the Manitoba NDP's.
  24. He goes around targeting players and that makes him dangerous on the ice, no respect for other players.
  25. Hawerchuk can here as a 18 year old and put this franchise on his back. Us old timers memory may be fading but there's no comparison between the two as far a being a Jet is concerned. For me Temmu had a great rookie season that took the city over, but Selanne will always be know as a Anaheim Duck.
