  1. None of us are pro coaches but I do expect the QB to be able to make throws longer than 5 yards. Marve missed basic throws. Like seriously. Only looks for 2 guys. Moore and Denmark. That's it. You need your QB to throw the ball. Make basic throws. Marve couldn't do that. Yeah the play calling sucked but maybe it's cuz Marve isn't very good. Marvelous? Not even close.

Didn't sign an extension this past summer so probably gone at the end of the season. Brohm no comment. This team needs to bring 10 qb's to camp next year they should be able to find a back up and 1 or 2 that could be developed. I'm hopeful anyways.

  2. This regime is absolutely lost. From the GM down to coaches & then to the players. We haven't got the players to win & the coaches don't know what to do to stop the habitual losing. If you think 3-6 is bad, we're looking at a 3-15 or maybe a 4-14 season folks. This is going to be like a snowball rolling down a mountain before it's over. It's going to get real ugly.

Thing is that i don't see it getting any better next year. With this management and coaches will still be talking about the offensive line, lack of qb depth, no running game, bad special teams, poor middle linebacker, no pass rush, and Willy being hurt again next year. The problems run deep on this team and no one is being held accountable, we put more money in scouting and that hasn't work out, we signed free agents to no real benefit, no first round pick, coaching that is poor, players who are not very good and management that is invisible.

  3. Donald Trump love him or hate he is a master showman and snake oit salesmen. Loves to hear himself talk love all the press he gets loves to name drop but in the end a lot of what he says is fluff. People may be tried of career politicians but i dont think their ready to give the keys to the US to Trump

  4. Totally disagree. When Buff is traded, the return will be a damn good return. He will get back a first and an A prospect at the very least. Maybe more if the Jets are willing to eat 1 million or so of his salary... I think they only trade him if the return is worth it anyway... They aren't gonna trade him just because, they will trade him because a deal actually makes sense to make. Guaranteed First and A prospect for sure. Guaranteed. No doubt about it otherwise they won't trade him.  Losing him to free agency would suck but making a bad trade would be even worse. I'd rather hold on to him until someone offers something of interest to me, and eventually that will happen. Buff will get a very good return.

5.2 million isn't that much, plus if you wait a bit to trade him, maybe closer to the deadline... how much is left to pay him anyways.

Ill keep going back to Sekera, A FIRST and an A prospect regardless of what one person thinks, MCKeown is an A prospect.

Buff gets that at the very least.

The jets will not lose Buff to free agency, look how people reacted with Frolik and his not half the player. In the end the Jets will get whatever they can if he won't resign here

  5.

Philly has 8333.00 left in cap space....Buff makes that in the first 8 minutes of the first game...

You assume they'd take him on without dumping contract $$ at the same time......

Find 2 players that the flyers would give that total 5.2 that the Jets would take. The situation of Buff's contract is going to make the trade tough and a lot of people will be disappointed when he gets traded. This could be moot if he signs.

Trading Buff won't be that easy, first he has a nmc so the jets would have to get a list of teams that he would be willing to be traded to. Teams with a lot of cap space are bottom feeders and places that he would not eant to play for. Also rule out any Canadian team probably would prefer to play in the USA plus no cap space except Toronto. Trading him to a place where he will go and we get a good return will be difficult considering that he has one year left on his contract but not impossible. As to retaining dollars in a trade that will not happen even for one year that's not how TNSE works. They will also not take salary dumps remember the Jets are going with younger players and again doesn't fit with the TNSE model.

It's a 5 team no move clause... Not sure who they are but... Toronto,Edmonton,Montreal are probably 3 of them.

Maybe New Jersey and Buffalo to complete list.

You know what.. Buffalo for sure since KANE is there now but... I dunno, bet it's some big market place. Buff strikes me as a guy who would be more than happy to avoid markets with tons of media. Im thinking NYR or LA or even Philly, so many rumors linked to Philly that you'd almost think, well, why hasn't he been traded there by now already.

Philly has no cap room and the players that we would want they would not trade. Dead right about Buff being a quiet kind of a guy grew up in Rosseau Mn. so how about sending him to Minnesota for Charlie Coyle. Only problem we would have to face Buff  5 times

  9. Buff will be traded I'm sure. Ladd might be too if he don't sign soon. They both would get lots back. Imo Jets sign Ladd and trade buff a week later. B4 tge season starts even. If it means one step back this year to take 2 forward next so be it.

I think Ladd's contract is already in the can will be a nice way to start training camp with a signing. As for Buff the longer you wait the less you get not to mention he always gets little nagging injuries. He's good for the team and fans but the time has come for him to move on.
