Bass had a really good game same with Westerman. Washington was pretty weak. Other than that the d played not to bad. Special teams on the put return was terrible. Offence was not bad , not good either.

Reports out of montreal say sam is stepping away from football

Let's not jump on Marve if he stumbles a bit, give him every chance to succeed let him run the offence for the whole game and at the end of the game hopefully a win for the Big Blue.

Well there have been reports of veterans upset with Sam playing ahead of better players, and making $100k while he sucks, so there's that.Or Lavarias and Hebert are healthy and better football players right now.
Sam being cut is very likely, he was horrible last week.

My guess is there was some type of conflict/fight between the two of them. I'd love it if the Bombers traded for Bowman. Bryant Turner for Bowman?wheres sam and why no bowman? trade brewing?
Can't believe John Bowman is a healthy scratch, his replacement must be something else.

The point i was making pertained to the Toronto media that are the biggest bandwagon jumpers. There quick to pound there chests like they put the team together, then when things go sideways they want everyone fired. I also disagree about the Jays being more popular than the Raptors, don't let recent attendance fool you.

This love affair with the Jays is getting nauseating. Turning into Rider like levels of proportions.
It's only because it's literally Canada's team.....it's all we've got! For me, it's not even about baseball....as with most things (for me) it's all about national pride!

Who knows, with Marve starting, we may discover that we have the next Collaros/Cato.
It's possible lets give the kid a chance and i mean a real chance, not yank him out if he makes a couple of bonehead plays. Lets see with a full week of practice if he can step up his game. We know what with have with Brohm so lets get behind Marve with full coaching support and just maybe he surprises us.

Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, and Saskatchewan all are playing with 2nd and 3rd string qb's. so the world has not come to an end. Who knows maybe the Bombers get lucky and find a qb with NFL cuts coming in the next few weeks.

That's his offensive line, he's the one who implements blocking and running schemes. Last year Morley and January got ragged on all year so they brought in new and supposed better players and the line is no better. Wylie has been here almost 2 years and the line is no better.

Exactly, I'm not going to pump the tires of a team that couldn't even get 1 point in the first half. A team whose offensive line keeps on throwing look out blocks, and offensive coordinator who lacks any play calling imagination, and defensive line who can provide no pass rush,a special teams coach who hasn't figured it out yet, defensive backs that play off the man way to much, running backs that miss blitz pickups,and a coach that has that @#$% eating grin on his face all the time. The only positives on this team has been the learning curve Westerman is on and that Willy isn't dead.

Sherman has the speed to play safety, and i have always though a national at that position is a good idea. Does anybody know were he is getting his reps at practice.

The mortgage payments are no problem. IGF is an asset to the Bombers, not a liability.Sorry don't listen to call in shows let alone call in, just stating the obvious that this team has an albatross around it's neck.
Have a feeling this conversation will come up in few years if this football team continues to play this way.
