Iirc hurls deal was 80k wasnt it? 2.5x (ish) more money for 10x more player. The last two years we have given up soo many back breaking runs. 2nd and long, teams backed into corners where they cant pass (bc) and we've just gotten rolled over by the run. Henoc changes and compensates for a whole lot of that. Instead of trying to hide our MLBer, we can have one that covers up issues, fills gaps, and makes the hard 1 on 1 tackles. Should we all pass around a hat and see if we can come up with the money from bomber fans in the city? LOL

Also our special teams, and leadership. I mean a different type of leader. A guy to get the D jacked up. Randle and mo are guys who lead, but in a different way.

Dont agree on muamba. The guy is a tackling, scraping to the ball machine who is great at ripping lose the ball. I would also expect his best football is infront of him.

Derrick lewis is a sleeper to take a brock fight imo.

Maybe im crazy but I feel like TO gets 1 out of every 3. All the guy does is perform. 85% + last year, with a long of 57. And is a very serviceable punter as well. Yet he continues to struggle to find a job. Hands down better then guys like maher. bede, etc.

Football is also a higher turn over sport. Guys from college are more ready to play and have a big impact right away compared to most sports.

In that case briggs, gauthier, renaud and miles would be the NI depth at wil. Miles has seen decent action previously, briggs didnt look out of place at all subbing in a few times last year etc. Doesnt look like we will see 4 new dbs, 2 for sure. If mo slides back to hb or s that isnt new. Roh would go into camp imo as the rotational guy. Wr will see a bunch of turn over no doubt. But the shake up is needed. I dont feel that is a position we can really project too much right now. Adams and dressler have had injury concerns, so does demski. Bowman is coming off a very poor year, no one knows what will happen to denny etc. While we also have very high up side young guys like givens, and washington + wolitarsky. Newf has been here for a while, and jsk made a lot of plays last year. If newf ends up starting (pls god no) or if jsk moves from wil to mac it isnt that big a difference. I think the biggest change we will see on D is usage and gambling. I think we will see more of the same guys, and more pressure risks then ball jumps. I think we have rebuilt our wr core, and re tooled our defense. And its still feb. Lots to do yet. This is the actions of a management/staff that is not satisfied with being a consistent play off team. In the previous returns to glory for our franchise we seemed to spend the following years just trying to hold it together, or re find that magic. Wade, mos, walters etc all are playing to win. And I love it.

Id like to see an off season series or mini series. Stuff like we used to get from sports net. Qb challenge, player interviews (i still remember the sultan of sack talking about hoping to get the sack record) That behind the scenes show they did with the argos a few years ago, and some thing similar with players training, rehabbing etc in the off season. The argo thing would be cool if they did 1 per team and check in every soo often through out the year. Then in the weeks leading up to the draft have a new episode. One per team, 9 weeks to stoke the fire leading into the draft. Some thing similar with a few select players in the weeks leading up to camp. Im not big on allstar games in pro football, but skills competitions would be fun. Ideally id like to see it set up so the league and the sponsor/tsn puts up a cash prize and the top 3 guys divvy it up. A bigger presence for the draft, and maybe FA day on tsn would be big too.

At S (as mo played it) you have a good bubble to read and slide accordingly. I dont think we will see loffler move up to lber. id like to see mo at s and loffler at wil but i dont think we will. With roh, jeffcoat, and ogopogo I dont think corney is going to see much rotational use either.

I think it was even longer then that, youre right he really does seem to take his time. Tbh no other situation is as close to this good a fit for him. I strongly believe that henoc + a high teir db (which isnt gonna come via FA dollars) would make us pre season favorites.

Throws very catchable passes, and has a very quick release. Not the prettiest passes, clearly head and shoulders better then the teams he played.

I wouldnt under estimate his willingness to sit out half a year in hopes of landing a NFL tc invite or some thing.

I think thats mostly awareness with bear woods. He is very cerebral, and puts him self in great positions to make plays. Reed is a bit more wild and more of a mid field type guy, an old school roving line backer. Thats why I think reed might mesh really well with what we do. hes a lot better at getting after the passer then what weve had at MLBer for a long while. Any of the three would be a gigantic upgrade over hurl last season. That poster always kinda creeps me out. Looks like a ripped steve dulcich for any hot rod people familiar with him.
