Lapo was conservative, and at times just bad. Bad play design, bad play call, bad adjustments. A couple of those play calls were enraging.

Id rather listen to them all noisily eat that burger. Also the worst anthem ive ever seen at a bomber game. The dude was mumbling every couple of lines behind her vocals. Like he only knew 4 or 5 lines total. WTF soo bad.

We won. But Harris wasnt good enough. And fenner wasnt good enough. And nichols, and jefferson. Winning doesnt excuse that. Its true, but with the game on the line you have to have the poise to step up into the pocket. Nichols needs to refind that.

Both. Some times plop and nichols complement each other some times they make things worse multiplicatively. Imo its plops job to adjust and compensate for nichols. And not nichols job to compensate for plop.

Nichols put up a huge eff performance. Unfortunately its hard to win games in the cfl completing 5 passes in a half. If this was US football, he would have had a great game. But it isnt. Not just safe, all too often terrible play calls. The reverse on 2nd and inches, the awful designed inside run flip pass junk etc.

This happens every game every year. Our offense disappears for a quarter to a half. QBs arent pitchers in baseball. They dont get records. Whats Fluties record? Damon allens? Moons? Its a team game. Winning doesnt excuse bad play. We let loffler walk in the off season because he wasnt good enough but what was the teams record in games he started? Irrelevant is what it was. That is a terrible excuse to accept mediocrity. How many grey cups did milt win? Does that change his status? He can be the no1 on a team that makes him the no1. Again win loss isnt a qb stat. its a team stat. He isnt ready to be the no1 qb on a team expected to be in the grey cup right now. He didnt show any progression in pre season. If he had taken a step forward you could argue it, but yeah cant just name streveler no1 and think we can contend.

Some awful decisions, really seemed rattled by pressure, and just not a lot of good passes. 2 maybe 3. Plop splits this spot with some awful play calls and slow adjustments.

Fenner was a hot mess tonight.

The medium to short pass he threaded the needle between 3 guys to whitehead. But ever other pass was pretty much adequate at best.

When he tucks the ball he stops looking down field. Lucky broke back across the field and was open over the middle. But nichols wasnt looking down field or in a position to throw. We may have to consider the 6ol set.

Im of the mind that luck is the residue of hard work. (bill bellichick) Refs and luck doesnt normally win games. But to night luck(y) won it for us.

He wasnt hot, he was really hit or miss. A couple really good passes a couple really bad. our whole team got bailed out by huge plays especially from lucky.

The red zone D was un real.

Bombers should have won by 30+ tnite. What a mess of a game.

1 Lucky. His amazing plays to score won the game. 2 Nevis. Mashed up the middle and was even running down plays from behind. 3 Kick cover teams. Lots of guys with hard hits, and great coverage. HH Nelson running down field on kick cover from the back side and laying a big hit. Great game on teams from him. Honorable mention to hecht for some big hits and causing late aligator arms.

It was, and the throw behind to woli was dangerous. Plop has to start rolling nichols out cut the field in half and make the decisions easy. Take away the option to run.

They were really good tosses. The deep ball could have been deeper, but its hard to anticipate and throw for speed like lucky has.
