  1. agree with this in a huge way. Ive seen more then enough of high school era peter parker. Its all soo golly gee mary jane sure is pretty too bad i have glasses and am smart shed never go for me... Modern marvel comics havent done much right in a long while, but atleast they went with a fresh take on spiderman. That said i will watch home coming of course. But of all the coming marvel movies my expectations are by far lowest for it. Is lower then basically every thing but jessica jones s2. Netflix horror selection is soo bad i wish they'd put some effort into it. Not even a lot of effort just some.
  2. i havent seen at all but he smacks of the type of guy nfl teams want. Big modern body and super athletic.
  3. yeah cant see a top 4 pick being used on him if he gets a lot of nfl interest. And with his athletic ability and size its hard to imagine him not getting a lot of interest.
  4. and a project at end when we have corney plus butcher in side. Id b pretty shocked if we picked him with one of our top 3 picks. thats for sure. hes confident but in that healthy i want the ball cus i can make the play type. Driven, hard working football guy with really good athletic ability. If buono picks vandervoort expect him to turn to gold. Gray is gonna be heavily dependent on nfl interest. I don think the bombers will put any emphasis on drafting bisons, as they havent to date. they go with their guys and best on the board it seems. Herdman does seem to be the mos type too. if hes there at 15th or our next pic for sure.
  5. close to reality? like i said i dont think any mock is ever close in the cfl. Especially with a few good OL prospects. I do think its a good representation of the talent, and the teams priorities over all at this point in time. But I also dont see any chance we take all linemen LOL.
  6. russell might make a good offensive line at this point...
  7. http://www.cfl.ca/2017/04/03/mock-2-0-ankou-senior-jump-charts/ another mock draft. Interesting, and far closer to reality then the other one. Though I dont think things will go that straight forward in the top 5. some one allways gets crazy and some one falls. Id rather behar at 6 then boateng as well.
  8. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=reductio+ad+absurdum
  9. Argos cut logan kilgore, keep drew willy.... so far any way.
  10. reductio ad absurdum much? Our play makers last year were in a position to make plays on the ball and force turn overs. vs the front 7 heavy group in 05 with walls, canada, wickman, flemming, brown, etc
  11. Tbh the only thing that prevents this current D from being that bad or worse is massive amount of turn overs forced by our play makers. We couldnt stop the run or the pass for stink.
  12. whoa rod rust blast from the past. guy must be 300 years old now.
  13. that would be good. most guys youd really want to snipe are probably committed though. leaving this close to football season is a pretty $%^& thing to do.
  14. Wonder if mike sellers is tired of living cushy on his nfl pension...
  15. bladek # 19, ekakitie #26, herdman #2, idk if i could possibly agree less with that list. that list is at the pederson level of quality. you never go full pederson.
  16. Yeah mcduffie was very good in limited reps at wr. Too bad we wasted soo many chances to use him on offense. Jace davis was very good early on. I think he got a raw deal in a bad offense that hadnt sorted things out. Despite that about davis, i dont think any of those guys are worth losing sleep over. It is a position we should be quick to scoop up depth at though.
  17. moving the riders to quebec city. oh man that would have been gold.
  18. Its a good position to groom a coach at. Id say either invite a coach to camp and if things go well offer them a position. If not buck can double, or it can be included in another spot. RBs dont really need their own coach in the cfl. We went soo long with out a qb coach which is much worse. Either a WR/rb coach to allow plop to be oc and assistant qb, and buck be qb and assistant oc, or a former player type would be good. Having 3 offensive coaches one being the oc is a bit limited.
  19. thats the truth. s9 was one of the best of the new seasons. 7 is the kind of happy ending that was the end of the show on tv. They did the special say good night to the bad guys after that and then did the swearnet thing. season 8 was pretty good too.
  20. major pain never fails to make me laugh. Easily the best talent that family has to offer imop. Trailer park boys went out late last night. s11 imop is better then s10 not as good as 9. better then tpb europe. The casting changes didnt hurt the show imop though it does seem to be missing some support now. The show in general needs to be turned over to a writer and show runner more imop. Needs a better direction.
  21. Wonder if gurley is getting a call today. (unless he signed and i missed it) Isnt mcduffie still floating around FA too?
  22. wooooooooooow. I wish him the best moving forward.
  23. good or better offensive players, especially wrs make them self a part of the offense. Even if you are running the wrong side of the hot route on a rub pattern for instance, (setting the not a pick) you still have a chance to make a play depending on coverage and what the defense does. Its not like plop tells nichols, "hey dont pass to the ni guys, just the imps". Or like nichols would do that. Sure our system isnt set up for a stoddard esq under guy to eat up cushion and make plays under other guys patterns. Our whole passing offense is planned around 15 yards or so from the line. The guy running deep is more of a distraction then any thing. That means we need a NI wr to have the ability to get open and make a play. Ottawa using soo many pass catchers is what has made them successful. You cant float on one guy and cheat towards another. If you try to use vice cover with the saftey and a db you have no help on all the other guys. We dont have a top flight wr right now. But we have a bunch of solid imps. Imop we need a solid ni that fits the system to round it out. Not to mention you cant just accept going into camp with a wasted roster spot like we had last year. That would be like aiming to fail. There was a short bit of talk on the forums last year about running all imp at wr. Its some thing i like a great deal in theory. But due to health of our wrs/ how hard it is to stay healthy in football especially for 18 games, plus that we dont have much offensive NI versatility or the imp wrs to DI and rotate I dont think we are close to a position to do that.
  24. dont blame you at all xD
  25. some one is ready for a new season of trailer park boys.
