  1. you wanted to count them, i dont know how you can struggle counting to 4 6 and 8 or how many times you need it listed for you but ive wasted about enough time counting for you. I mean really this isnt saskatchewan. sucks. taylor is maybe the best athlete on the team. Hes been playing banged up for a while. I hope its not serious.
  2. probably lol. id love to see thiadric hansen go in and take out all 3 hanson brothers with one hit at half time.
  3. Talking back ups if you want to count both qbs it's 8. Maybe check the roster smh
  4. Yeah love it. Nice to see from the pregame show
  5. One. Not two. Cmon man. Just the naturalized ni thing that hasn't been evoked at all and probably won't be this year. It's strange. This rip off role-playing segment from pti was awful.
  6. That's not how it works. Our current roster for this game has 7 imports that aren't starters. Also try to remember the roster rules have changed 3 times in 3 seasons.
  7. It's not. That's late or at times they can't sub like hurry up. The penalty is called illegal deployment of a designated import. With out bomber butts in tight pants I wish you luck. It's my only successful Case so far.
  8. The nicknames are awful for sure. He also would just ramble on about players against the action. And the in game interviews were just brutal.
  9. I love the quote about Eli. Late in the elk game talking about taking knees and eli says "Screw that lets run it!" It could be. But thats not at all what i read. I mean I DL'd the rulebook for 2021 this week and it was one of the worst reads of my life. I once had to go through a 600 page standard operating procedure for a company I worked for that was drafted by an out side safety company. This was 100% worse. But by the claims on here, you could "start" 8 or 9 ni, get extra imps on the roster, then not play the starting NI, and the added imps who arent DIs would continue to play as un restricted americans. Maybe thats why ive seen ssk, and edm run 9 or even 10 starting NI at points this year. But I have a hard time believing the mafia, who havent been doing that and follow the rules of subs/ratio very closely, would be ok with other teams cheating in that fashion Ive never seen the penalty thrown for Illegal deployment of a designated import. And I remember some 15 ish years ago a game where hamilton was down soo many NIs they were only rolling about 5 between offense and D at absolute most. I would bet, especially with how the refs have performed this year, that you could get away with murder with respect to the ratio. No way am I gonna track the numbers even for a game and check to see how and if teams are abusing the ratio. Nor am I ever looking at the rulebook again. I thought before this week that the ratio and roster limits badly needed some improvements. (more qbs, more roster spots etc) Now im more sure than ever that it needs a good overhaul.
  10. I feel like its not as though hes talking to some one new, he sounds new. I indoctrinated my wife as a bomber fan almost 4 years ago (now a rabid fan) and she's always found him annoying and complained about him with out my commenting on him. I wanted her to see it all with fresh eyes, she was barking at me about him in game 1.
  11. All I saw all over media from all types of fans was people not liking RB. Soo maybe just maybe they are listening. Or some one is.
  12. Yeah I hope it does. I like the around the league anonymous weekly post.
  13. No joke. I feel like dunk writes 1 in every 20 articles or so too now. They just let it be a soap box for terrible mouth pieces. I mean how do they not managed a deal to have doug brown do a weekly football article. Or duane forde an article going in depth on break out players all over the league. Or guys like bauming or some thing. The league has people around the country who are interesting and creative but 3dn and TSN settle for soo much old garbage just because its been around.
  14. Suitor and black was the worst booth combination in all of pro sports. Maybe history. Between the two black is far more likeable as a person imo, but its hard to stand a bad PBP guy in football. Those two are the exact opposite of what the young demographic wants in sports coverage.
  15. Another day, and yet another idiotic rider media article on the CFL basically crying about the bombers. This time also league wide defensive dominance. Like holy crap does this guy think the elk shouldve punted 3 times from inside their own 3 yard line? Its normal for the toxic type of rider fan to be extra salty when the bombers are great and riders bad. But the whole damn rider media circuit is foaming at the mouth and grasping at straws for a reason to see the bombers sabotaged. https://3downnation.com/2021/10/15/dumb-dumber-enough-with-the-safeties/
  16. The top 10 paid list has some really bad over pays. Durant, evans and smith for sure. Banks is clearly done, but I get why hamilton thought he would be better. It is, but next year if he doesnt go to the NFL he's probably gonna be wanting 150k+ pretty easy,
  17. The rule book has no provisions for allowing a DI to replace an extra NI. Previously starting an extra NI gave you an extra DI. https://cfldb.ca/rulebook/scrimmage/player-restrictions/#r4s5a5 Article 6 — Designated International If a team is using its full complement of international players, it shall, prior to the game, designate four international players as special teams players, who shall be permitted to enter the game at another position, only on the understanding that another international player on that side of the ball is required to leave the game for that play. Such player may enter the game on an unrestricted basis, only if another international player is removed for the balance of the game. If a designated international participates in the game illegally: PENALTY: L25 PLS DR or L25 PBD or option.
  18. Previously you got an extra DI, it wasnt an american none counter. This year its different.
  19. cant replace an NI with a DI. If one goes down then we see a lot of Hback and TE heavy run sets. Probably a lot of MIller at Hback moving around blocking and more harris in the flats.
  20. Especially those who have been shut down and shut up on the field. I really want to see BA hit him soo hard he knocks him back 70 years into the past the last time a D this dominant played in the cfl. 180k, the highest paid wr in the league. 70k upfront.
  21. RBs are for certain a much better team now. They sudenly have a capable RB, and a qb who can lead an offense to more than 100 yards a game. Every team has improved like you said. The fact that we had no pre season only makes the amount improved even larger. When every one improves, teams that improve a little bit less seem worse off but the level of football has improved a good bit from the early weeks. Montreal, ssk, and edm have improved the least. The bombers, argos, and Rbs have improved the most.
  22. To be fair, brazzell and bowman were always streaky, drop prone guys but yes. The last point is really a great one. Just because a pro team moves on from a guy, doesnt mean they gave up on them or think they cant play. Some times players struggle. Some times players need a change of scenery. Or some times they just dont fit well. If any team has the chance to make them self better or cheaper, they will take it. Thats seldom an indictment of the former player, and more the fact of how much imp talent flows into pro football with every year. QFT x2. Im sure they have contingency plans in the works. This isnt the 2019 and prior team. We dont need a medlock level kicker to stay competitive. Mourtada is a badly flawed old imp kicker with little experience. Either they will craft him into what they seek, or they will make a move.
  23. Yeah, I mean he's another high up side low experience qb. Like dom davis, and MBT. You can have a reason to believe they will develop giving a steady flow of reps and coaching. But the hardest place to develop a QB is between the ears. He has tremendous physical talent. Hes big, really fast and athletic, and has a big arm. But for my money, I would rather develop a QB who is smart, mentally tough, accurate/good touch, with a quick release. Its amazing soo many years later, just how many teams at all levels of football want a michael bishop instead of a tom brady. I mean, I love athletic qbs as much as any one. I think a mobile qb is the easiest way to build a winning offense. But unless you have a michael vick level phenom talent, an athletic QB still needs to read and make decisions first and foremost. The critical failing of a guy like Fajardo (other than not being able to throw a deep ball), is his in ability to read a run opportunity. He scrambles when pressured. When he runs a designed qb keeper he doesnt fool any one. Collaros scrambles before the pressure comes, he keeps his eyes down field reading rushers and coverage, then makes the best decision he can. I think that if we are still struggling with kicking when the bye week hits that we will see castillo or lirim land here.
  24. I think its more about hash marks. Mourtada has to kick the fgs from down the middle. 30 yards and in but on the hash is still a no go for him. So angle kicks go to legs, and straight on kicks to mourtada. Same old broken record crap.
  25. I get that. But we arent going to go 2 NI on D on every snap. Itll be 1 and we'll rotate jake, kongbo, maybe hallet, and a lber. They arent going to feature 2 full time NIs on D this week. What a loser. We have a hulk. BA, SMASH!. Our defenses secret is, theyre always angry. But I hope they play extra mean football tnite.
