He’s soo much like Glenn it’s scary. Doesn’t have that hyper speed release, bit better athlete though. Soo many similarities as passers though. The same mistakes and turn overs.

I don’t think the return to school then back to the pros to the drafting team the following year has provided much though I like it in theory. We’ve used it a bunch but not it any success I can recall. We don’t expand the coaching staffs with guests much any more, and tc rosters are massive these days. I think we’re past the point of diminishing returns on having soo many guys and not enough time eyes or footballs to go around.

It’s not bad faith, it’s actual football eval vs bad impressions. Acting and treating woli like he’s Jamie stoddard is arguing in bad faith. What you’re missing is, if he came up as an imp he never would’ve been used as a primary blocker, and bc wasn’t a run heavy team. He would’ve been looking at a lot more pass catching volume. He has all the tools and has shown that here. He would’ve been much better off being viewed as a wr first and foremost. People sleep on what woli is in term of size athleticism hands and football iq. He’s an excellent route runner and there is a damn good reason he is instantly a clutch target for every qb he’s played with.

And? He sat most of 17. Out gained half those guys in his first main year. Only two of those guys had significantly better rookie years, and one is one year wonder jones. Geroy Simon was once expendable too. Woli made this team with some very very deep wr cores. Every year here is better than Demskis best year before arriving here. His 17, 22, 23, and 24 years are both would’ve easily been 1k-1200 seasons as a top 3 target. Bunch of vet WRs have been going to the nfl and bouncing around on the league on big deals for less production than wolis better years. And that’s with out any of the blocking role. If you think he’s a blank passport you’ve completely lost the plot. He might be the most reliable and clutch ni wr in the league since his rookie year. He accepted a lesser role here because that’s our system and that was the fit with soo many other productive catchers and RBs.

Some guys I think would be a better fit as combine based prospects for us, We. Hakeem Harris, This years clercius. 6’3 210 ran a 4.59 36” vert 10’9” broad 13 reps 7.12 3 cone 4.25 ss. Didn’t catch a lot of balls down south, but played a lot of teams. He could allow us to use clercius more as a pass catcher and heir to Demski, and fill the blocking role. Two guys like that doesn’t hurt. Db, Eric cumberbatch. Elite size and athleticism at db. Similarly Anton haie. Dl. Liam Hoskins. Elite athleticism and good size at end. Silas Hubert, who has that size to play 3t 4i and book end with tremendous athleticism . Ol. Still really like pile, not the world beater athlete or great size. But the motor, toughness and nasty grit are great. Ethan vibert too. maybe now’s the year we spend a late pick on a qb too. Arnaud Desjardins and Jackson tachinski have both been in camp with us in the past as cis guest QBs. Either could move to wr, and could also be short yardage QBs.

As in to actually play wr, and not be a blocking te on half the snaps. Woli talked a few times about his role vs being a wr. He was brilliant when he was allowed to pass catch. I think the chance to be a full time pass catcher in Hamilton was appealing.

The strangest thing is the timing. Doing it half way through the off season makes no sense. If it was planned, you’d think he’d leave after the gc. Or to give the most help stay till just before rookie camp. The timing makes he think he was pushed out. Despite the fact he left with pure class. 2 years is a really strange band aid term. Everything from rock to metal is so compartmentalized that it's buried and stands alone. Rock exists; it just isn't particularly mainstream (it's always come and gone in waves) right now. More than auto tune, the level of technical mixing and production polish that goes into albums now has every thing feel far more poppy. Unless it is a literal garage band that you don't hear the gritty sounds any more. even though that really dominated the sound of 90s rock/metal etc. You really have to work and search to find bands in those kinds of niche now.

Certainly, and imagine the upper-level talent we could've hit on after the 19 gc if we hadn't focused on high floor, ceiling teams guys? Especially since many of those guys didn't get much of a look even with in their niche. Wouldn't be surprised. Also don't particularly have any expectations for him.

I don't know that it's weaker, I think we don't have those top tier stars, but I think the 2nd and 3rd tier have a lot of depth. It's the kind of OL draft that your scouts earn their money on IMO. You're only gonna take 1, maybe 2 guys for each team, every single team needs to hit an OL. A few teams are going to. I hope we are one of them. Yeah, we need it for sure. I agree, I don't think we are locked in to other positions. We don't really have a huge need other wise. PBA / best projectable athlete picks should be our method. But you never know with us. Dl, DB, OL are what I see a lot of value in this draft, that also fits our system. Yeah, we don't need high floor no ceiling guys. We don't need to be drafting for teams with out the ability to take positional snaps with improvement. That is a good point. Maybe our biggest need with NI talent, is guys who can push filler off the roster. I think Canadian depth will be a really good scrap in TC, if they are given the chance to take jobs.

Couple really good, really athletic big dbs which is a rarity. Bunch of dl with good size d1 pedigree and questionable measurable. Good chuck of athletic tweeners at de/lber. Some good inside dl who I think will translate well but maybe not high upside. A surprising amount of strong athletes at many positions too actually. can’t wait to see what we do either. Hoping for 1-2 ol, 1-2 dl, 1 db, 1 wr, maybe a rb. Maybe grab one of the athletic freaks no matter their position who we like best. We are gonna be very well poised to grab a couple guys who can make the roster this year.

His relative athletic score is 9.27 out of 10 which is elite by nfl standards. The 4.65 40 is the only hold up. If he ran a 4.49 he’d get a late pick in the nfl. Hes a prodigious teams guy as well. Instantly contributes there, and has sky high potential especially in a system like ours. I like Pyle too, he’s not a great athlete or an ideal body by any means. But he’s a nasty piece of work with enough tangibles to make it work in the pros. Especially if he can clean up his build while adding a few pounds.

I feel like drake would be some what divisive due to the Kendrick Lamar stuff but that might put him into a more gettable spot. I’m not a drake fan but I think he’d be a lot better than what we are likely to get. That’d be great. Maybe make him a master of ceremonies type deal. His chops on the mic are fantastic he could do a lot to drum up hype. I feel dummies might be too niche. One hit wonder from what 25 years ago? Great guys though. I thought about young, I doubt he’d do it. Personally I’d love that though. Headstones will always be my no1 pick lol. I wonder if they go back to the guess who well again?

He is the best end in the league. WJ, as we saw in the GC game, can turn it on and play at that level. But he can't nearly maintain that level of play. He's just turned 34, and is far removed from his best days. He makes 200k, and when it comes to maintaining contain, run stopping, motor, finishing tackles and being read he's the worst in the league. He can still jump passing lanes and get a knockdown every other game, and when he turns it on he can really blow your hair back with his pass-rush ability. If we run a decent nose in lawson/woods and severely limit the reps for jake, and don't have a free spot for the opposition OL on the other side of him he can still be really effective. Even more so if we actually rotate willy and keep him to between 40-50% of snaps. But he's a lost step and or an injury away from being done, and he plays a lot now like late stages Elfrid payton. Mauldin hasn't put up the same sacks since his career year, but he is always around the ball making plays. He covers as much ground as any DE, and is always generating pressures. He makes the guys around him better. My all cfl DL would be flo, ceresna, sayles, and mauldin. A lot of guys could be in contention for a 2nd team. A lot of guys struggled last year with the holding that was allowed, and with their teams schemes/talent. Toronto constantly pumps out extremely productive DL because they always put guys together who fit well, and who have extremely high potential. Who ever they plug in you can expect to be near the top of the league every year.

You mean the guy who played sherlock? Binglestink Combhisback? Could be... Yep. Stars who transcend sports are pretty rare these days. The world is soo compartmentalized that we just don't see guys who are world stars because of north American sports any more. Yuup. And honestly out side of lebron, I don't think any other NBA player has that kind of fame today. And I don't think we will see another one like that for a long time. I don't think the NFL or MLB have one guy like that either. QFT. Especially the Canadian guys, but the real stars of the league should be more prominent in marketing. By that, I don't mean their face on a graphic showing the up coming weeks games for 9 seconds. What BLM did in the past bunch of years working the GC broadcast is a great example of a guy creating a brand for him self. And it crushes all the leagues attempts to brand stars over the past 20 years.
