  1. He doesn’t lack for film reputation or pedigree that can be earned out side of the nfl. Coming back would be high risk low reward. I am surprised he hasn’t been picked up with how great the lack of quality ol is in the nfl right now.
  2. Honestly it’d be hilarious if they gave him the mop and collaros led us to another gc. Like when Harris was snubbed in 19 then won moc and mop in the grey cup. People around the cfl just love to give the bombers bulletin board material.
  3. Atleast he’s getting some good guys into the right spots. Kola at guard will be fine and couture to c is an upgrade. Gray won’t be Bryant at lt but I have high expectations for him. Dobson is a mean nasty earth moving dude who will finally get to play inside. Lofton is scary but to have kept him soo long with soo many other imp ol they have to see some thing in him. Holding my breath on that spot but other wise the remain four spots are guys who deserve a shot at starting. It’s going to be better than the ol we fielded late last year after Richmond went down. That was ugly. Same here. I always found the food to be very good and my some what limited business with kristjan were fantastic. Tbh I’ve never seen any one have issue with BH. I hope it hasn’t fallen soo low. It was a gem. Truth. And a future interior ol in Dobson. Could be guard or center long term. I’ve never seen a more powerful violent ol in college. He averaged 13 pancakes a game at Maine. That’s a really good season for many ol. Played 4 positions in his lone year in Texas state. After seeing him in person at the fan appreciation day he is 100% legit at his listed weight. Dudes lost a ton of gut. Rushing him back for the play offs would’ve been reckless and stupid. Rushing him back for that game is a whole other level of incompetence. Even if it ends up being for home field in the semi that’s not worth it. If I was doman id tell Campbell if he tries to start rourke in the regular season he can pack his bags. If mos said that about collaros in the same situation I’d be sick. Also, both Calgary and bc would be better served to play the semi in Calgary. Playing that game in the dome then coming to a cold nasty Winnipeg weather is a massive mountain to over come.
  4. If Richmond was healthy and flipped spots with gray instead of Lofton playing I’d be pretty optimistic for the lines performance in pass pro and over all.
  5. Glad to see a few of the changes. It’ll be great to see dobson get a start at guard couture return at centre and gray get a game at tackle. Lofton worries me and brown may have to be quick getting the ball out with all those changes. At the very least though I expect that line to do very well run blocking. like seeing Lawrence and Darby start.
  6. Back up qb vs vaj. Back up ol vs the lions ol. Should be a much more even match up than when collaros routed rourke and their a team earlier this year. im pretty excited to see dru brown year two get the start and prukop come off the bench for some clean up. what’s crazy is drew Richmond was hurt in the first bench mob game last year and is still on the 6 game. Wish that dude was healthy talented as it gets. look forward to seeing more sayles rotating inside and out. Could be a huge piece of our future on dl if he continues to tighten up on the end. Hope to see a heavy dose of bolo in the offense and mccrae with lots of touches. Be nice to see ford get some meaningful reps at db too. We got a lot of young talent for whom the games leading up to the post season is a chance to win a bigger role in the post season. If I was buck, I’d let collaros do the play call for a spell as well. Whole different view of the game lots of insight to be had for. Even for a guy in his prime.
  7. Mbt is a strange dude. Barely played in hs. Barely played in college. Didn’t play regular season in the nfl. Grass fields probably bring him back to the last time he was a regular starter in football before the cfl. Pop Warner. imo grass sucks compared to modern turf. This guy also didn’t play on the overglorified carpet that the sky dome used to put on top of concrete. remember how bad edmontons natural grass surface used to be? Shaggy slippery hard to get footing on. Teams didn’t get to practice on the game field either so they really struggled to get cleats set up optimally. Soo many back field tackles by the green monster.
  8. Going to be no trouble filling any holes that develop in the off season at wr. Won’t have to hear about us pursuing x vet elite or former elite wr for big bucks. We’ve got soo much upside poised for break out years next year it’s silly.
  9. Hope we see a few of the recent defensive imps we’ve brought in get rostered. And cooper get some d reps at what ever position we intend him for.
  10. I’m surprised he wasn’t 1 gamed. Seems gassed. If he can get back to his early season form he certainly has a place on the post season roster and will be a gooder next year. im not sure what his long term fit is maybe dhb? I wouldn’t mind seeing a hybrid package with two dbs at Sam and will. Rutledge and Rene are big sams as it is. And Kramdi plays huge that combo would still be good against the run and give a lot of options in coverage. That guy is gonna blow up next year. I love what he brings with the ball in his hands and with versatility. Bolo too. He’s soo smooth and strong. Doesn’t look like an ni at all. If we go into the post season with duke healthy demski red hot and roadhouse doing what he does plus perhaps a healthy woli and bolo that’s more good targets than you can shake a stick at. Totally makes sense. Mcrae has such a great ability to just get plugged in as a package guy or used every down as a wr or rb. Soo electric with the ball in his hands. I’d really love to see him work on catching punts. He could be the ultimate di and remove teams ability to kick away from the return game.
  11. They are. They make great veteran additions every year and find a couple gems. Plus they are the second best coached team in the league. yeah I don’t see any threat of McManus leaving unless it’s the same role in Hamilton and they give him a huge portion of their front office salary cap. Goveia is the guy some one will poach imo.
  12. what a terrible move it would be for him to try to come back this year. No one wants to see another joe theisman type of injury
  13. As long as our big vets are as healthy as can be I’m not concerned. 100%. The next man up process in Calgary was backed by constantly bringing in high tier guys to push at positions. Not familiar faces who have shown they can’t cut it. Or keeping guys on the pr who aren’t going to improve or be less available at any point in the future.
  14. That’s what I’d think. And getting ellingson back would be scary good. it’s still poor roster management with him though. To have brought back McKnight then cut him and now cut Harrison too. We rostered him and gave him no reps. Could’ve been actually developing some one. Our pr this year has been a mess.
  15. 100%. He’d have a chance to win the east division if not for wynton macmanus. And the seasons not over lol. He could end up with even more silly numbers because we don’t have bodies to sit him for the last games. Yep. I think rourke will get Bcs moc nod and might unfairly bump demski in the west. The hype train is crazy. I think hardrick should get our mol nod this year. D I’d give to nichols. But probably Willy or biggie. Legs certainly gets our sts player nomination.
  16. I could see if you played 3/4 of a season. But the first half? Any one who would vote for 9 games of rourke over a full season of collaros shouldn’t get a vote ever again. Carey, and collaros should be the battle in the west. Though really roadhouse is the second biggest mop in the west.
  17. Didn’t you also assure that lawler would be back,( no one was gonna touch him with the dui) and kongbo would be cut in camp?
  18. So you mean half a year younger than kongbo? Age isn’t going to keep him out of nfl looks.
  19. That does sound like fun. I’d love to see an end season break down of value per dollar in fantasy. I bet dalton would be real tough to beat this year.
  20. He’s 25 right now and will be 26 in the nfl window. Age isn’t a concern.
  21. 100% I think he’s nfl bound. He should be in the nfl. Year two roadhouse in the cfl would be scary.
  22. 3dn sure isn’t fast to put up articles about bomber games after we win lol
  23. If you could all stop taking dalton schoen so I could catch up that’d be great. 😆 but seriously it’s been pretty fun doing fantasy for the first time learned a lot about how some of this works. Drives me crazy some times how production is valued though.
  24. Brady actually deserves Honorable mention too. 16 touches 107 combined yards 2 tds. as said the ok played great. Adams looked really good at de can’t wait to see him rotate with jj and Wj. Sayles actually has improved a lot as a de rotation guy too. Young dbs played better and nichols as always played great. Biggie was making some plays. It was a great team win.
  25. Yeah went to cjob. Having to chase the small fleeting moments of cfl coverage out side of the snaps on tsn is terrible. They are a trash partner to the cfl. I’m thinking maybe back in the crazy Edmonton days maybe? Pretty rarified air no matter what I’m sure.
