He’s very legit. What I really liked from his running last night was that out side of his big run, he still gained great yardage consistently. He wasn’t busting 10+ or getting stuffed. He fought for yards was able to push forward a bit on some tough plays too. Good blocker, great effort guy. Much better speed than you’d expect. The fact we started out the year soo well with strong execution on both sides of the ball from the first bell, despite missing our qb1 and mop rb, after the mess of a month and a half to start last year is a real testament to the value they got out of camp this year. We even lost a bunch of coaches and front office guys. But despite all that this was the hungriest and most prepared team breaking camp we’ve seen since 21.

I really liked Randos game. I want to see him get better in the run game though. Vanterpool was really good at guard. Which you do expect from an imp playing guard. But he was likely our best ol last night. The old guys all got whupped a couple times

To be fair, one near pick was tipped which isn’t on him and another was a crazy diving attempt at the turf. He does need to protect the ball placement a bit better, but he did get better at that as the game went on.

That 31 yard net punt from the lions 51 was ugly though. He was punting poorly from mid field but decent from our side. He struggled picking up the right guys, and when he had position failed to contest the catch effectively at all. Pretty disappointing, but he didn’t play that much in pre season and hasn’t played in a while. Maybe he needs to get the rust off, either way he’s gotta be better and quick.

Saw a couple great blocks from him, and wheatfall really feasted playing off schoen. Every one knows how talented he is. But I don’t think most people realize how scrappy he is. He blocks his butt off on every play he can.

I loved the iq he showed and how he beat his man around the edge then bursted into the kr on that play. He’s soo crafty and explosive it’s great to watch. I thought mci had a bit bigger pop but either is a good pick. I like tony jones but he’s limited. He’s a run stopper and a teams guy. Too much of a liability in pass d. yep griffin had a gooder again. Vaughters could’ve been an honourable mention too. Having Lawson adams and him really freed up Willy and adams. That’s the difference between him playing every defensive snap and 3rd most dt snaps. Still useful if he’s limited. Very excited from what he showed. Some great passing concepts. Really gave Strev a playbook he could succeed with. Can’t wait to see him with zach next week.

He had a Houston game imo. Beat a few times lucky a few times but squeezed the ball when it came to him. Not late stages crazy gambling Houston though. Rourke was physically broken late too. That’s a rough combo. Strevy really did dial in well though. Loved to see that. If he got the ball out faster and cleaner all game he could’ve had two more tds.
