  1. i liked her naked in season 1, so i cant knock her totally but I think i have more issue with the character and not a whole lot of depth/range, she seems too much like a push over for who she is and where shes come from to get to where she is, and if anything seems to be regressing and is becoming too passive/submissive to others again considering her role.

my issue with GoT tho isnt so much the characters or acting but the storylines horribly slow pace. giving 4 storylines (sometimes 5) an equal time share per episode (so 15 minutes each or less) isnt enough to progress the story at a steady pace. other then really the final episode of season 5, are they any further along then the end of season 4? I was told the writer is now in write as you go mode whereas the other seasons were pre-written, if this is how it is and will be here on *yawn*  i compare it to Randle's lord of the rings impression in Clerks 2

I think giving 2 storylines an episode split each so 30 and 30 would serve the show better then such small pieces once a week imho

  2. I prefer the womens game they don't go down like they are shot every time some gets two feet from them. Then they don't sit there rolling around in pain for a non existing injury.

in watching the Canada/New Zealand game, it was told to me that unlike the mens game women only get an automatic 3mins OT whereas the men's game racks up that time a players down during the game (with that + time) for injury time they play off after regulation, so maybe theres method to the down for so long rolling around,  other then giving your guys a breather, not unlike taking an injury knee in football

  3. tbh, it also took me a few episodes to get into it,  but it became more about the back stories (which some feel werent fully explained like red, crazy eyes as examples) then the alex/piper stuff. And they are still milking that 3 seasons later. I joking called it chick oz the other day, and rightfully so although a bit more satire, but the thing with Oz was while you could have several story lines, some taking spotlight for an episode or 2, or 3, or 4, they didn't dwell on it for too long. The fact the show itself is centered around Piper Chapman is its achilles just as much as it was its initial point of interest. it was kind of funny to see a clueless blonde waltz into a federal prison,  but that's worn off and now its just bland.

My dad is a guard at stoney and he watched the first episode with me where you see Laura Prepon's   boobs,  and i jokingly said aren't you disappointed you didn't opt for being a CO at the women's prison in Edmonton (as he had to spend his first 2 years working in Grande Cache Alberta before transfer) he said hell no. In fact most people don't want to work women facilities cuz they are known to be crazier than mens. This show's appeal for a while was its clever humor, but with a lack of that and stalling storyline, they need to get crazy. Like more of how season 2 ended.

I took a break and watched Hannibal's first few shows and got hooked quick, now im caught up and waiting for episode 3 of season 3 ironically lol\

to that back story point, season 2 was heavy with it giving you insight into the rest of the inmates, more so then season 1 which was more flash backs centered around Piper and her past with alex and the current spiral with Jason biggs character. I found season 2 MUCH more interesting/entertaining to watch because of that,  much more Oz like imo

I can't make you believe me. But if someone reads this and had to choose they'd be wiser to go with me. Not because I'm smarter. Just because its my business. It's what I do. No disrespect intended. I love talking wrestling with people. I respect your opinion certainly.

And yes when I talk about what wwe does and their decision making, a lot of it is what I read. Not from "insiders" but from the most inside journalist in the game. But a lot of it is what I see from watching. I can tell what they are doing by how they do it because I'm a Booker for so many years and there's a general way things a done for certain reactions.

Of course I respect your opinion as well, you obviously know what you are talking about.  I just don't think you give Vince, Hunter, and the rest of them enough credit for their ability to stay ahead of the curve and manipulate their fans.  They are not dummies, I can promise you that.  They know what the fans are saying, and they certainly know what the insiders like Cyrus are saying.

The fact is, they can't push everybody at once.  Fans complain that Wyatt, Ziggler, Neville, Daniel Bryan (pre-injury) and more are being held back.  But someone has to lose, and it can't be Kane and Big Show every time.  To push Rollins, you have to let him beat guys like Ziggler.  When Rollins starts losing, fans will inevitably say he pissed off Vince and is being held back.  But the truth is that every wrestler has to participate in the cycle, so that means some will always be up while others are down.  I think you touched on this when you mentioned Ambrose.  He is being pushed, for sure!  But yet, all he does is lose.  Isn't that kind of interesting?

maybe its merch sales lol give the guy the belt or #1 contender long enough,  and they'll sell enough and be viewed highly enough that even without the belt or title shots they still sell and get over - think randy orton, whens the last time he was relevant? even vs rollins with the authority friction that was swept under the carpet like it never happened, yet he still gets one of the loudest pops everytime he comes out no matter how stupid that set up to the rko is

  5. i can kinda see what atomic is saying with the new kayfabe thing. once again I think this has more to do with HHH and his heavy involvement with everything wwe these days.   If you recall towards the end of his wrestling days (really) his thing and the hot thing at the time was making fan feel like intelligent fans. Bringing more of a "real" sounding behind the scenes story then the superficial stuff we'd been swallowing prior. Sure they'll still go a little too fake with things like Ambrose stealing a paddy wagon and coming back to the arena, but it was more the reference drops, behind the curtain tell tales that hardcore fans used to hear or know about,  but now its more out there for everyone, but more scripted then scandlous

  6. trying to think who could make up an international team,  sheamus, rusev, wade barrett, ceasaro and tyson kidd?

    in playing to that theme in a king of the ring format but went 4 internationals vs 4 americans, you can criss cross have a bracket set up like;

Sheamus vs Orton                                                                 Rusev vs Ziggler

Barrett Vs Ryback (?)                                                             Ceasaro Vs Cena

    then sheamus/ryback   n rusev/cena

then sheamus vs rusev with rusev turning face and becoming the russian hacksaw jim duggan lol

  7. not sure, but if they didnt give sheamus the money in the bank brief case, rusev didnt get hurt, and didnt put the IC belt on ryback,  they could have had an international vs american either survivor series or king of the ring for the, then, vacant belt.

tbh ive missed a bit last little while, not sure why wade barrett is coming out decked in crown and sceptor, if it was due to king of the ring i totally missed it

I watched super dave play 100 shots of beer in 100 mins on the man show. Dont know how many beers 100 shots make but they seemed pretty hammed after 1h 40mins

**edit** nvm i see theres 12oz's per beer = 8 1/3 beers,  thats not lots at all,  lightweights

I'm not getting your math. A shot is 1.5 oz so 100 shots would be 150 oz divide that by 12 oz per beer and that's 12.5 beers.

Of course they would have been drinking American beer which would make that the equivalent of about 6 Canadian beer or 3 Aussie beer.  ;)  (no I did not do the math - it's a joke)

depends the shot glass i suppose, i was under the impression shots were 1oz so i was basing it on that, but if its as u say, well lol this will be a fun challenge needless to say

  9.

Lol @ Wade Miller vs FIFA.... I wanna see that as a movie...

It starts and ends with fifa thinking wade is a soccer ball and kicking him into a net while screaming goooaaaaaall.

I was with you, right up to the point where you insinuated that the soccer ball ever actually gets kicked into the net in a soccer game.

    Hey..whoa.. Canada scored today pal!

i should have watched,  firstand only game i caught was Canada vs New Zealand and it was worst of both worlds,  snorefest AND a field full of uglies :(

Eight beers in 1 hr 40 mins is a pretty solid feat. It's harder than it sounds.
i suppose in thinking about it the stop and go of shot after shot would be something, vs say shotgunning or just chugging back a full beer non stop representing 12 shots in that less then minute.  I guess in my head im trying to divide it up and it'd be 4 beers roughly in 50 mins.  I might try this challenge, anyone know where to get cheap plastic shot glasses in bulk?

Dude just use the same shot glass 100 times!

lol that'd kill too much time pour drink, pour drink,  need the 100 shooters then go bam bam bam - id likely be doing it with a couple buddies so just to make sure their no losing count or cheating, well all have our challenge in front of us.  good thing they came out with 8packs
