How long until something else in life matters?

I was 8 years old and cocky.. Thinking they would win several in the 90's alone!

I didn't see it coming but i was literally driven to tears and so was my whole family. I can't believe it. This is what it feels like guys!!! Lets build a dynasty!!!!

I can't imagine where he would go to. Honestly which CFL team is going to offer him a starting job? Teams looking for a qb. Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa. Qb's to fight over.. Masoli, Bethel-Thompson, Arbuckle, Nichols, Collaras, and Streveler. I just don't see a starting job being out there for him this coming season.

Im hoping we bring back Streveler next season and dress him as DI when the league drops from 3 to 2 qbs. That way he can play qb and also rb/fullback. Have him and "the other qb" on the field at the same time with Harris. Could really give teams fits.

Im not familiar enough with the specifics on that rule. But it was clearly a situation where he did a check swing on that throw and then it fumbled. It was not an intended throw. After not overturning a clear over the line of scrimmage play earlier it was blasphemy to overturn this call. #hottakes

I need to proof read. Was trying to say that I don’t think they can’t beat the riders in any weather condition with the combination of Streveler and Collaros. Streveler alone would give me cause for pause though.

Not convinced Winnipeg can defeat the Riders is any number of weather conditions so long as they've got the combination of an experienced passer and Streveler. The game we really need to be affected by weather would be the Grey Cup vs Hamilton.

I don't know how to fully express how much of a satisfying feeling that game provided. To win and blowout Calgary in Calgary with Bo playing was so satisfying. Can't remember the last time we beat the teams in a playoff game? I've had ill will towards them since the 1992 Grey Cup loss when we should have pulled Dunigan a lot earlier. Bring on Harker!!!

I kind of doubt that teams will bring him in as their starter. I think he will be here as a backup and potentially a competitor for the starting job with another QB next year. However, if Paul LaPolice takes a head coaching job somewhere that doesn't have a proven QB already i could see him trying to bring Streveler with him.

Yeah.. If he was voted in past Powell can't see how he doesn't more easily beat Stanback. Powell had similar numbers to Stanback but more than twice the touchdowns.

I'm not a big fan of how things were handled. The people who voted against Harris for top Canadian should be ashamed of themselves. Their job is to pick the best player in the category not to make some sort of moral statement. And it is certainly not their job to collude the way that they did. Clearly the anti-Harris vote in this category colluded to not only make sure Harris didn't win but also to make sure they sent some sort of additional message by picking a player who wouldn't be one of the top 3 Canadians on the team at the very least. They should all have their voting rights revoked. They turned this whole situation into a debacle and really they've embarrassed Miller. And unlike John Scott, Miller doesn't seem to have a sense of humor about this sort of thing.

No reason to think they can't get it done when it matters. This game mattered a lot more to Calgary. But they can only beat Winnipeg when Winnipeg doesn't have a decent passer in.

Yeah when the gameplan is to run around and throw picks i guess he doesn't need practice to continue executing.

Are you suggesting Nichols was taking more shots than the average QB in the CFL. I really don't see it that way.

To me the best play here is to rest Streveler so he can be as healthy as possible for the playoffs. I would play a combination of Collaros and McGuire to evaluate McGuire for next season and give Collaros some reps to make him a possibility for the playoffs.

You're not wrong. But they ask about a lot of players and its time for them to ask about Oliveria again. Probably too busy trying to find Foketi on the depth chart.

He's just really green as a passer. He's making a lot of mistakes and those things are about learning through pain a little bit. Has to learn how to put the ball where only your guy can catch it on some of these endzone passes. I expect he will make fewer mistakes as he gets more in game reps.

It actually seems pretty impossible because for Winnipeg and Calgary to end up tied would require a split and a BC win against Calgary. The best chance Winnipeg has is to win out and have the Riders lose two games. Either way. Winnipeg can get a home playoff game if they win out. The most ideal scenario right now that is somewhat realistic is to win out against Calgary. At least we wouldn't have to win a playoff game in Calgary to make it to the cup.
