  1. I don't think I can say I like Lawless, but he is the best sports journalist in the city.
  2. Me neither. One must be a glass eye but I can't figure out which one. This guy needs to start a religion, I'm a believer.
  3. OMG, is that geezer Strike Force? And can someone photoshop those eyes so they point in the same general direction? I'm literally giggling to myself in my office about this. me too. but cant stop laughing. The eyes! How can someone be looking 90 degrees to the right, and left, at the exact same time?! Seriously, once you see this, it hypnotizes you!
  4. The Bombers should wheel out a casket by the visiting bench
  5. I remember when the Undertaker choke slamed Yokozuma... I'm new school.
  6. Your brother should thank you, he clearly went on to a semi successful career as one half of Geezer Strike Force.

  8. A guy with his physical traits and background never gets to BC, let alone here, without red flags. I had low expectations. Please exfoliate on that comment?Lol...To "exfoliate" on it, a guy with height, supposed speed, and being out of a successful, prominent, D1 NCAA school, not being able to stick on an NFL roster, nor be brought back by the Lions, there must be some serious flaws in his game. Well you could be right, but who knows. An intangible like a bad attitude is all it takes to get cut these days. Fair, I don't want to imply it is an attitude thing though.
  9. Excellent... Guys see the spots are up for grabs, and that people are going home. Intensity up!

  12. Last year's ST Captain, I believe...Unfortunate for us. Pontbriand is last years ST captain. I believe. I got a feeling this year it will be Chad Rempel. Regardless, a solid vet. Rempel definitely helps, but still a loss.
  13. You need a rotation of guys. Peach is fine in rotation.
  14. Last year's ST Captain, I believe... Unfortunate for us.
  15. That sucks about Dan West. Solid vet.
  16. I'm not surprised about Tuinei, I actually expected him to get cut. I'm more surprised about Denicos Allen and Sammy Brown.
  17. Just simmer down, Why are you constantly waiting in the weeds to jump on them over the smallest detail?
  18. Eric Tillman abusing the roster rules once again. It's a ******* joke.
  19. I didn't compare the talent, I compared the tendency for people to think they know better. Id wager money people were excited to see Sunseri play over Durant last year... How'd that go?
  20. Or maybe he just wants to play football but is either not good enough, not handling his life under the microscope very well, or both.
  21. It's understandable. I'm leery of someone who says they don't want extra attention just wants to play football, yet signs up for a reality tv show and agrees to hold a press conference announcing his signing in Montreal. I think if he really didn't want extra attention he might have asked what happens when every other American player who washed out of the NFL before even playing a meaningful game signs in the CFL and said let's do that. I respect that he's being open and there's a risk in that, but it's pretty clear that the media attention is something he's playing into at this point, not trying to avoid.Kind of presumptions for any of us to know the pressures being put on the young man, and undoubtedly being pulled in a million different directions. You can guess his intentions, and you could be right or wrong, but the reality is you have no context to base it in. I doubt Michael Sam asked for a press conference, and I doubt he truly wanted a reality show, quite frankly. Team: Hey Michael, we'd like you to be at a press conference to announce your signing.Sam: You know, I'm just here to play. I'd rather not, if it's all the same. Thanks. Agent: Hey Michael, want to do a reality show? Sam: No. I'm thinking that it might not have been as hard as you're suggesting. And I'm willing to bet he has way more pressure than you give it credit. People follow this story, and this player, on and off the field.
  22. No slight to Danny Mac, his career speaks for itself, but I bet people wanted him to play over Dunigan. What people? His mom and dad?In what world would anyone have wanted anyone to replace Dunigan? "Sorry, please put in Danny, I don't like seeing Dunigan throw for 750 yards. That's just showboating." I bet they existed. Not in your context, but liking him over Dunigan.
