With Laine out, there is enough room to bring Comrie up and start him in the LA game. Leave Hutch at home for the trip. Comrie doesn't need to clear waivers when sent back down. If he falters, Helle comes in as backup.

Ya and we could use the depth too. I hope Chevy does something about it AT LEAST by the end of the entry draft.

Roster is fine except 3rd pairing D....maybe tweak the 4th line and get another backup....Helle will be fine once he gets more experience....what part of roster don't you like? Defensive depth is a concern. Poolman signing would be nice but we are lucky if he makes the team and replaces Postma.

Is that a skip on that record? It'll take the team to play more consistent, better goaltending, less penalties, better PK and better 3rd pairing D. 4/7 (5 on the road) since healthy isn't too bad...said before and say it again, you don't fire the coach after half a dozen or so games with a healthy roster...this isn't the Bombers of the past.

I thought before they let the Sabres win in about what? 5 or 6 minutes? it was one of the best games of the season. The team breaks down and it is Maurice's fault though....let's fire him. We'll see how they do after the Flames game. Win and 3 points behind...lose and we are 7 points back.

Last week Copp was a B but this week send him down? Last week Tanev was a "perfect 4th liner" but this week let him develop on the farm? What is your opinion going to be tomorrow? Maurice took a very young team decimated by injuries with the worst schedule in the history of the NHL and below average goaltending with the poorest 3rd pairing D in the league and has them around .500....not bad if you ask me. Tired of hearing your crying about firing Maurice, he isn't getting fired...face it....move on....it isn't happening no matter how much you whine.

We weren't motivated when we walked all over them in the first period and then to start the 2nd? We were freaking dominating them as well as any team we have played this year. Oh, that was Maurice turning the puck over and letting in goals. Let me guess, the haters can't blame the PK because they didn't let one in today. They can't blame the PP because they potted one today, Jeez Louise what can we blame Maurice for? I know, no motivation... getting pathetic already... I don't question Staf moving up mid-game, he actually wasn't playing that bad. I would have double shifted Armia and Wheeler into Laine's spot but that's me. Staf playing on the 2nd or 4th for half a period doesn't change the outcome. Tanev getting the call up?

Maurice has already he said he has used him to much because they have been chasing games....we have Myers back, you watch Buff's TOI drop. His TOI should decrease anyway, he is one of the biggest underachievers on the team this year whether you agree with me or not.

Still took 4/6 and gotta be satisfied with that too. Let's hope Van wins tonight and we get some revenge on the Flames on Monday.

I'm not blaming today's loss on the D. Where did I say that? It is a fact that Buff plays better when under 25 minutes and with those two, he almost always plays over 25 minutes. We need a better 6th D even when Myers gets back because he is nowhere near enough to hide either Postma's or Chiarot's deficiencies. He makes it better solely because he is a better D man than they are and is more than a 3rd pairing D man.

Chevy, open your eyes.....look at our 3rd pairing D and frickin do your job already. Everybody and his dog has seen it for awhile for now, do something about it. Maurice doesn't trust Chiarot and Postma enough to give them decent minutes so Buff and Trouba and the others have to play more minutes than they should be playing. GET US A D MAN!
