I think it was 3-1 and Chicago plays very disciplined and structured unless we have different meanings of those terms. edit ... and Hellebuyck played very well.

We have always agreed on Hutch, lower than average backup and will never amount to more. No expansion draft, no Hutch or for sure no 2 year deal.

Helle had had WAY less than 50% quality starts, this isn't all on Hutch.

Injuries were a problem and you are blind if you think they weren't. At least you are agreeing the goaltending needs to get better. The PK is vastly improved over the last 3 or 4 games. They have most of the players back and getting some time to practice it.

Helle was responsible for those goals and EVERYONE was talking about ourr goaltending after that game and almost everyone was saying the coach's job is safe until at least the end of the season. Like I have said before though, he has had 9 games with a healthy roster so it is ti me to fire him....he is only 5-4-0. I think Buff bailed out Morrissey 3 or 4 times and might have been 5...I'd re-watch it again but it is too painful. Goalie, not sure where you are getting your stats from but mine were up to date after the games last night. 19th place....I don't make up stats like some posters on here. You want to talk coach go t the thread....you wanna talk goalies, go to the thread...we are needlessly blocking all these threads and are off topic. The Jets are ranked 26th in goaltending in the league. 22nd overall in points but have played more games than every team below them. I can't believe some people don't think the goalies need to be better.

Good goaltending can do that for a coach. Not throwing anyone under the bus....no room after all the coaches you guys have thrown under there already. The leaders on this team aren't doing a good enough job if you ask me. Is it why they are playing poorly? Maybe a bit but not much. Goaltending is the major reason and if you don't believe me, even the national media are talking about it now.

I watch every game at least twice and goals for and against at least 10 times. I suggest you take your own advice and watch the game again. He REALLY favors the vets. That is why a 23 year old is on the first line between a 20 and 18 year old. That's why we started the season with 4 rookies this year and how many last year? Overall this year a very average backup backed up by an AHL backup.

I hope Helle starts. He seems to shake a bad game off very well. Say what you want about Staf but he needs to be moved off of the that line. Armia deserves the spot and Staf can go play with Lowry and Matthias.

Buff's chewing tobacco deserves to be thrown in first. How can you say you are a leader when you play like he has been playing this year? Put him up as a forward if he wants to spend that much time deep in their zone.
