He let his "career" season in 2019 go to his head. It's been a steady decline ever since, but he's too proud or delusional to accept reality. Maybe both.

He's also got an INT and a forced fumble. His injury issues are concerning but his value goes beyond just his stat line, IMO.

That's the plan, which Bowness alluded to yesterday. It's probably going to take time to break old habits but it sounds like the team has bought into what he's selling. The forward lines back-checking, plugging up lanes, and collapsing to the net much more consistently should only help the blue liners with their game. And the goalie, too.

I haven't been there since early 2020 (pre-pandemic) but the food and service were excellent the few times I'd been. Their beers are pretty good, too. Haze Bomb is a personal fave I enjoy on many a gameday and their stall at Beer Fest back in August was awesome. Anyway, looking forward to seeing how the team performs tomorrow. Should be some pretty good experience for those depth players.

Looking forward to the Dubois line and seeing what kind of chemistry they'll have.
