Martin Havlat has announced his retirement after putting up 594 points in 790 NHL games over 14 seasons. Nicknamed "Mach 9" for his skating prowess, Havlat played for the Ottawa Senators, Chicago Blackhawks, Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks, New Jersey Devils and St. Louis Blues. The 35-year-old announced his retirement on Wednesday through the NHL Players' Association. Havlat most recently played two games for the Blues last season before leaving the team for personal reasons. He said his body won't let him play up to his standards anymore. RIP Martin

Did not think Hutch had a good year last year. Buff is better when the team is winning. Perreault is playing on the same level as last year. He's a d-forward now. Chairot not been same since injury. I'll blame Chevy for dumping Pav b4 season and not picking up any of the multiple UFA goalies the last couple of years.

If Myers was healthy now the one thing that holding us back(IMHO) on the D is an LHD, preferably offensive LHD cause we dont have one on the left side. 4 goals total dont cut it.
