Smoked Ham in Kelowna

Apparently the BC fires and resulting smoke is causing all kinds of problems for residents in the interior of the province, and in Kelowna in particular. KBF- how are you faring?

Man, when I saw the title of this post I thought a wildfire roared thru a pig farm...

Why is this in the Bomber forum?

Move to General.......Christ's sake....

Now that we're in the right spot -- it's insanely smokey across AB right now. It looks cloudy, but it's actually sunny and just totally covered through a haze. Hard to breathe at times...lucky I work in an office.

Smoke has been bad here since Saturday night. It's feels and smells a lot like the third world countries I have visited like Egypt or Burma. Huge fires burning across the border right now.

NW Alberta (Peace River area) is not so bad today, but we've certainly had our days. Closer to the NWT border has been much worse.

one thousand square mile fire in Washington state. biggest forest fire in recorded history of the state. photo taken during evacuation.

My throat is bugging me because of it. And my eyes were burning this morning. Looks like no end in sight for the smoke here. Heading to the coast this weekend so hopefully I can get out of it for a bit.

If it makes you feel any better, there is a smoke alert in Calgary and their air quality at the moment is worse than Bejing. Bad news for asthmatics and diabetics.

I'm escaping this Beijing-like air quality for Winnipeg this weekend.  Extremely bummed that I can't get to the game on Saturday.  Argh.

Same boat. Heading home for a week starting tomorrow but a wedding in Boissevain on Saturday. Hoping to get a TV into the hall during the reception...
