Sad Fact

This isn't the first losing season we've had.

However, I can not recall a season where I felt this much apathy. Its not even like I "can't wait till it's over" -- I just don't care.

And yes, I am a season ticket holder.

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in that sentiment, so I'm concerned about the long-term viability of the club if they do not make really big changes in a few months.

It won't take much to get true fans excited again, but many will choose to wait to see what the club does this offseason.

It better include a winning GM, a hungry, sharp up and coming coach, and a legit QB.

  • It's not the losing. It's how they're losing, how things are continuing to be run, and how there's no certainty that things are even going to change come the off-season (yet alone before then).   Al

  • Saturday was the first game in a long time where I found out the score by checking my phone.   I'll usually watch ANY Bomber game ... couldn't be bothered on Saturday.

  • Tim Burkes record as a head coach is 6-12, his teams have scored 479 points and given up 746 points.  in those 24 games they have scored over 30 points (arbitrary number) 3 times, they have given up o

It's really disheartening. Usually there are a couple of really good teams, some average ones, and a couple of really bad ones (with Hamilton consistently being at or near the bottom).

This year we are the worst team by a mile. QB, O-line, secondary, coaching, GM. It isn't even up for debate.

I think Kent Austin is highly overrated but you put him as our HC and GM (a mistake by the way) and we would be pushing .500.

Other than the Chris Williams debacle, I think Austin has done well. The Ti Cats are a better overall team this year especially on defense after a horrendous start for that unit. I like the guy. He has a plan & has stuck to it. is a no nonsense head coach. I get the feeling he coaches using a little bit of fear as Dave Ritchie did which keeps his players on thie toes. Contrast our team where Burke never gets upset nor do his players. No one seems to be worried if they play  terrible.

I remember TSN showing a pre game speech by Austin and the dude showed fire and his players listened to him and got pumped up.

I highly doubt that Burke even remotely motivates the guys before the game.

Who, when and where are they even playing this week????  Have not checked yet, not worth the effort.  Especially for a busy, important and beautiful person like me.

Montreal.  On Monday.  I don't plan to eat any turkey before hand as I probably will just be vomiting it back up again during the game.

Thanks, I have to get totally hammered to watch this crap and I may decide to work on Tuesday so I will probably pass.

Let me know how it goes, with Hall at the controls I am sure it will be all good.....
