Those sky kicks are hard as hell to recover. The return team is ready for that. Basically have to tip it out of bounds. Need to just hammer it into the ground and get some crazy bounces IMO for an onside like that when they know it's coming.

I still remember the time Westwood drove the ball off a blocker for the Bombers to recover the ball

Embarrassing second half. I expected it though. Defense can't tackle, offense could move the ball at times but missed field goals and interceptions hurt us big time.

Another game they could have won but let slip away.

Honestly, even if they fluke their way in, do we have any faith they won't just do this again? I want to believe but they give me zero reason to believe in any kind of sustained success ..

They are so flawed on both lines it's surprising we're even as competitive as we are in a lot of these games.

Like Edmonton is playing with multiple injured guys in both lines, lost 2 DL, 1 OL for a lot of the game, guy came back with a sprained ankle. And we're getting demolished both ways that whole second half.
