At least they finally realized Namestnikov wasn’t contributing and benched him.

I still don’t like Stanley and Schenn together…. Especially against a couple of the best players in the world.  I like some of the physicality they bring, but they are wildly slow.

And to make things worse Schenn doesn't seem to want to be with the Jets anymore.

Wonder what the vibes are in the lockerroom and where each individual player is in what they contribute and/or not contribute to those vibes.

Did Schenn say something?  Hadn’t heard that.

He would be an easy guy to let go, if anyone is willing to give up something for him.  Maybe in a package deal.

Maybe a new tablet for the bench?

Sorry I'm being much too harsh, he did just recently score his first goal in his last 7,789 games played. 🙂

He's been playing for 100 years?

I don't like the Schenn / Stanley pairing either.

Anyways I think the fact he couldn't play his 1000th game in Toronto really left a bad taste in his mouth.  The fact that the team sucks only fuels his desire to leave.   Can't really blame him.

Well it seemed to be a legit article but you never know maybe it was conjecture on the writers part. Who knows with the world wide web nowadays.

And Schenn in my opinion is lucky to be in the nhl and playing as much as he has. He’s part of the defensive problem.

I believe it. He prob would rather be on a contender as he’s super old and sucks. Wife prob whining about the cold. Kids apparently love it tho.

lol. They could waive him Nyquist and Pearson to the moose and they would clear. But at the deadline if you retain on them and jets would have to you might get a 4th rd pick.

Saying Gavin McKenna under your breath after another loss tends to help a bit.

The problem is.... He's not THAT good. Like, he's a very good hockey player... But he's not the generational talent like McDavid or Crosby. This feels like a waste of a tank year... McKenna isn't even the consensus #1 at this point.

I sure did enjoy his playmaking abilities at the WJ’s. Regardless the Jets need some infusion of young elite talent to help support their core.
