Will healed up and rested help at all in making the playoffs this year? I’m thinking a hard no. Re-tool now with teams who are buyers.

If we're sellers, it'll mean a shitty season next year as no way we're ever in the market for an impact free agent. I'd sure like to see how a more aggressive GM would handle things but we'll never know. With Chevy he has a #jobforlife because of his bestie Chipman.

Watching the game against France with Cuthbert calling just frustrates me listening to him sometimes and knowing he’s an elite broadcaster but i wish he wouldn’t make references to things like when Marner and Stone are coming down on a two on one that we just witnessed a Las Vegas Knight duo. Who the f cares. This is the Olympics not a NHL game to market to viewers. Make Canadian references. We are here to do a job and and send a message. oh wait that’s just me. Sorry just really sensitive in what’s happening south of us these days. Go Canada, hope to see my man JM back soon.

France has the best Goalie name. Saved by Shupka! as the Frenchmen collapse all five players trying to defend Canada’s relentless attacks. :)

Why? The jets would have beaten France 10 2 also. The worst nhl team would beat France 10 2. Hell, the local AAA sharks who I played for years ago probably would have beaten France 10 2. Assuming I let in 2 goals. Nothing to learn watching this game. Only thing you learn is some guys on France should be in my kids skating lessons group.

He should have said 2 proud Canadians who refused to sign with Canadian nhl teams coming down on a 2 on 1.

Canada doing well. Seriously for the population size and delegation size we are doing well. USA not as good as normal. Norway just winter Olympic legends tho.

I always thought Cuithbert was overated. When he was younger his high pitched voice drove me nuts. As he aged, it's got deeper so it isn't quite the shriek it was in the 90's. I like him better calling the CFL.

Can't Bobsled Canada or whatever they're called go out into the Head Office World in Toronto or even Calgary & get funding for their program instead of using used sleighs from the Germans?

I started a new bantam football team here in Calgary & we desperately needed funding to buy equipment. I went to a bunch of coropoate head offices here in the O & G as well as insurance business to see if we could get sponsorship. Each time, I met with very nice people from every company's HR depts. No one would give me a penny. The cause of helping to fund a boy's football team for 13 & 14 year olds wasn't big enough. They wanted to make a big splash & have a news release.

Some of these companies had tens of thousands to spend waiting for the right opportunity. In other words, don't wait for government sponsorship. go out & get the money yourselves.

Thank God for Mitch Marner. So if Crosby is out will it be a good time for JMo to get back in? He was scratched for today's game

Said no one ever when not watching the 2026 Winter Olympics Hockey and after the 2026 Winter Olympics are done.

Sorry his stink coming from the Leafs and the Knights is difficult to overcome but necessary during this time. :-)
