iHeart Posted October 18 Author Report Posted October 18 Schief scores the first of the game...and has officially surpassed Blake Wheeler in point leaders for the team
HardCoreBlue Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 What an athletic no look knockdown by 55 than 81 turning Nashville’s D man into a pretzel as the color commentator puts me to sleep.
HardCoreBlue Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 A tear came to my eye hearing that the Jets new mantra on the pk is to be more aggressive.
BomberBall. Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 Refs are rewarding dives more and more. MrFreakzilla 1
HardCoreBlue Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 I see nhl refs are taking cues from cfl refs in taking their time blowing their whistles. This is where we miss Buff after forsberg takes out JM with a questionable elbow or clean hit.
iHeart Posted October 19 Author Report Posted October 19 I think HNIC may have said a Quiet part loud! I wonder who we would face if we get a heritage classic next year? I'm assuming Edmonton again

kelownabomberfan Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 JT seems to be starting to find his groove again, looked really good on that pass for the 4th goal. Other than that meltdown in that one period against Dallas, they've looked really solid so far.
Goalie Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 (edited) Stanley with a career high in goals already. Maybe their patience is paying off with him. Perhaps and if it means he’s a legit top 6 D, it’s time to eat some crows. I believe there’s enough pieces of crow for all jets fans to eat. Edited October 20 by Goalie

Time will tell though.

Who is struggling mightily without Sammy by his side. Stan is an offensive d man like pionk is. Pionk needs a strong defensive d man like Sammy. Stan would prob also better with a Schenn or Miller type who are more D first guys. Stan and pionk suck cuz they are both in reality o first D men. But put them with different partners and they both will get better by default. Pionk needs Samberg to be himself. He’s really fighting it right now. No chemistry with Stan or whoever he plays with. Desperately needs Samberg. Stan is a fine 3rd pair O first D man. Problem right now is he’s on a 2nd pair mostly with another O first d man. Edited October 24 by Goalie
