Yes there are some highly qualified unemployed professional coaches out there who have earned another chance to be in the show but hey its our approach to give someone their 23rd chance to rectify their previous track record of ill advised behaviours with players and staff.

This says a lot about their GM, his team, any player who may have advocated for him and maybe even their owner.

I mean, the GM is Stan Bowman.... There's some history of disreputable behaviour there......

Read some stuff last night suggesting that Buffalo is gearing up for a run at Helle that would involve the #4 and Devon Levi... Curious to see what develops.

That’s not what Chevy wants. Why would he trade him for that. Dreger who is chevys mouthpiece said Chevy wants a 2C back. Levi is not that. That’s a huge downgrade. Most of these rumours are from dudes looking for likes and views but the actual insiders say 2 center plus or he’s a jet. He’s under contract till 2031 and rumours are he hasn’t demanded a trade but he’d also be ok moving on. So Chevy ain’t trading him for a **** goalie and a pick. We aren’t rebuilding.

Nobody is suggesting that's the complete deal - only that the #4 pick and Levi could be a part of the deal.

FWIW, I've seen Luukonen mentioned as a potential piece instead of Levi but it's still not a straight up goalie and a pick for Helly - Buffalo (or anyone else) will need to put a significant package together in order for this to happen.

Chevy is listening but hasn't been offered anything yet that he likes.

Nah. In the end, Chevy makes the best deal for the Jets. The Evander Kane deal, the Stanley and Schenn deal, stastny was a win. I’m not sure Chevy has lost a trade honestly. Maybe ones like Cody eakin or you know lesser pick trades but in big block buster types, he wins. Kane. Schenn, Stan. Laine. Dubois. Those are all big wins. How anyone can sit on the internet and pretend he doesn’t have the most impossible gm job in the league is just beyond me. Winnipeg is literally on 80 percent of the no move and trade lists. And since not rebuilding yet , we haven’t acquired the necessary picks to trade to acquire guys like a Simon Nemec like Calgary just did who wouldn’t be eligible for the no move or no trade clause yet.

Helle? I like San Jose but I liked San Jose more when Eklund was still there cuz I thought Eklund and 2 for Helle was prob a nice trade. At 2 we take Stenberg. But maybe instead of EKlund it’s a couple picks now plus a player. Maybe 2 ( Grier said he has an interesting trade proposal for 2, could be Matthews in Toronto or Knies even but, Helle fits also. ) plus plus. Who knows. Buffalo is hosting so they could possibly make a big move and Helle makes some sense there. 4 would most definitely need to be involved. Helenius I would think would need to happen there or maybe Shane Doanes kid
