Pretty sure in the last 15 years the Jets lead all NHL teams in ex-players who went on to win cups.

As the toddler that I am being a hater of the Knights and Gary Bettman, I'm thinking if the roles had been reversed where the Oilers were heading into the championship round and were blocking the Knights from interviewing a coach they had fired near the end of the season, Gary Bettman would not carry over that support to the Oilers as he's currently doing with the Knights. Legally yes the Knights are well within their rights but what a prick move to get in the way of someone trying to seek employment after being released.

Distraction as a rationale? Major eye roll, how on earth would that be a distraction to them cuz if it is they are focussing on the wrong things.
