I can't comment on his music all I've ever heard is the little clip they play on football telecast, not my cup of tea. 

Not a big fan of MGK. Just not my taste but he’s popular with the younger crowds for sure. OLP is cool. Wonder if they do Chris Benoits theme song. Then he comes out? With his wife and it was all a big work then the lights go out and it’s viva la rasa. We lie we cheat we steal and Eddie Guerrero comes back and says odelay Winnipeg. Did you miss me vatos. That would be better than MGK.  But honestly I think watching ed gein butcher ppl and dig up graves would also be more entertaining.  Just no creativity anymore with the half time shows. Why musical performance? Why not dogs or lions or something fun. Like the entire stadium is the half time act and we all sing karaoke on the big screen and while singing musical artists come out and sing together as one, we are the world…. Or the cat came back… or maybe this is out there but what about under your seat is a painting pad and paint and AI bob ross does half time. And everyone paints happy little trees. Then AI mr rogers comes out to sing its a beautiful day in the neighborhood and finally since it’s Canadian, London from the littlest hobo comes out and the catchiest damned Canadian tv theme song plays. That’s better than MGK. London taking a deuce is better.

My vote is for Weird Al Yankovich. Or Inuit throat singers. Maybe the death aria from Madama Butterfly.
