Wheeler with 40 points in 44 games now. For a guy people want to bump down to the 3rd or 4th line, he is still playing up to the value of his contract, IMO.

They had 11 days off so that's off the table.

Not that I closely follow the logic of scheduling NHL teams and the match-ups but this was a very weird scenario where you have a team with an 11 day layover playing a team on the 2nd half of their back to back games.

Imagine if the Jets lost, yikes. The press on that would have been interesting.

I had no idea Stanley was playing until late in the 2nd. Guess that's a good thing.

Johnson for CHI had a good game but they have 3 Johnson's on their team so I can't tell you which one it was :D

Watched the first 2 periods. Looked decent enough after 11 days off.
