Putting off dental care leads to much worse issues in a hurry, preventative care being put off by lower income earners is a strain on everyone. This is a very good program. I read that around 5.5 million Canadians had their claims approved so far in 2025. Over 3 million of those claimants have already received dental care. Over 40,000 of those who have received care are Manitobans. I can't speak to 'lining Zelensky's pockets' but I can confidently say our friends and neighbours are benefiting from the CDCP.

Coincidentally, I referred  a young Ukrainian labourer to the CDCP just this morning. Those pesky Ukrainians are going to eat us out of house and home, here and abroad!!! (<--joke)

There was mention on the previous post of hoping dental care would be universal one day. Not when tens of billions are going out of the country to global causes like the war in Ukraine. I can't wait to see the reaction when our kids & grandkids are sent to fight in Ukraine after a national draft because that's the only way we'll have enough troops to have an actual armed forces.

Maybe, but our child soldiers and their shiny white teeth will be the envy of the Eastern front!
