TNSE purchaed all the 1.0 logos and designs way back when: https://nhl.nbcsports.com/2011/10/06/nostalgia-in-a-holding-pattern-true-north-buys-old-jets-logos/

That decision allowed TNSE to create the two Heritage Classic jerseys released in 2016 and 2019, respectively.

I fully expect a 90s inspired jersey at some point - ideally in both white and blue primary colours.
