Matthias who should be given chance on 1st line makes it 1-0.

Then Pitts ties it soon afterwards.

Copp makes it 2.1 Will be challenged and we lose it.

2-1 again by Ehlers.

Malkin? FOCK! 2-2.

Toby crunched into boards.

3-2 as Byfuglien puts it in after Morrissey leaves ice after being pucked.

Morrissey back. Bruised but not broken.

One of the most entertaining first periods of the year.

That was a disgraceful hit.  He should never play in the NHL again.  Not because of that hit, in particular, but because he is a useless POS and serves no purpose as a hockey player.

Solid revenge by the Jets....

anyway as it relates to tostito, when a player is called up for the sole purpose of doing what he did especially for a game where there is a known sense of something happening then there should be a suspension to the player, suspension to the HC and a fine to the team.

we def need a new goalie next season, and by new I mean NO AHL call ups, Comrie isn't any better

 

we had a good PP earlier in the game but the second period wore them down
