  1. If Edmonton puts it together (I think they do), Calgary could be on the outside looking in.
  2. I'd also almost rather not play with a FB on the roster...If Miller's gone, could we not add another DB or DL?
  3. I just noticed that. Why no D? Lol. Anyone notice who got the interception?
  4. The link takes you to some message page, you still need to look at the menu at the top and make sure you’re on the game tracker page.
  5. Sure, buts that’s ignoring the pages of commentary that preceded that comment on possible ways to utilize the new rules or possible roster combinations that offered increased flexibility.
  6. Why the hell am I listening to an Ambrosie interview in the first game of the year while they all completely ignore a TD happening on the field?
  7. Honestly, after Zach, you could put the remaining QBs in any order and I wouldn’t bat an eye.
  8. Ok. But we still need to be able to engage in constructive criticism or we may as well shut the whole board down. No one is infallible and for all the positive things MOS brings, there are some negative side effects.
  9. It almost as if media members don’t know how to evaluate OL play….
  10. There has to be a way to make it simpler. For everyone’s sake.
  11. MOS will have his statue outside IGF one day. Doesn't mean he's perfect.
  12. That would make complete sense - MOS wouldn't even reveal the holder on the coach's show. I assumed that the submitted depth chart had to be accurate. Otherwise what's the point?
  13. It looks like Grant will be able to come in for Woli if we so choose. Kramdi the back-up DB (or Darby and Kram becomes SAM). No nationalized Canadian on D because we only start Jake? Might limit our options. Like we thought, no roster shenanigans like some other teams are doing. Just the expected depth chart.
  14. Exactly. So do I believe he's going to fully maximize these new rules or is going to continue to manage the roster as he always has based on his own set of factors?
  15. Some here need to accept our Holm and Savior into their hearts. Praise Evan.
  16. This is kind of how I meant it. I remember O'Shea taking advantage of loop holes and trickery in his Toronto days and beginning years with us. We haven't seen a whole lot of it lately, but obviously he knows the rules forwards and backwards. IMO, for better or worse, MOS values special teams as equally as O and D. This leads to roster decisions that sees several back-up LBs instead of depth at :more important positions" that leaves our heads scratching. People have also screamed about his loyalty in the past, but I think that's more that he respects his players as a whole, rather than just potential production. His start/sit decisions considers the leadership qualities, film room preparedness, etc. that we just don't see. Now, believing all that as I do, do I think that MOS is going to seat a guy like Woli to get extra snaps of McCrae on the field? Ehhhhh....
  17. If you call Bomber Nation the small group of die hards that cares to follow roster moves, then yes, I agree with you.
  18. 9 LBs and and 3 DEs rostered some games... DT asked about it on the coaches show for me. MOS laughed it off. Said they do rotate the DEs and have had plenty of bodies doing it over the years. Also commented that you don't want to take the Jeff's off the field more than you have to.
  19. "Mike O’Shea, a Hall of Famer who has been in the CFL as a player and coach for more than 30 years, said Evan Holm has the best feet of any defensive back he’s ever seen" "Veteran defensive co-ordinator Richie Hall, who has been in the CFL even longer, said Holm didn’t have a good training camp, but an outstanding one" "Dalton Schoen, one of the best receivers in the CFL, said Holm was the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ best player in training camp"
  20. I honestly doubt MOS will learn the rule. He's just going to trot out the same roster he always has.
