  1. I accept that you have experience that I don't. But like any job ever, there's not a definite way of running things. Every manager, coach, boss has their own way of organizing things, so I won't sit here and believe that every coach does "this". Yes, MOS is the boss and can decide every detail. But no one is going to work with him and stay under him if he's forcing them to work with players that they don't want. It goes against everything we've heard from every player and coach about how this thing is run.
  2. I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to accept. This is just gossip. And not even specific gossip. What's not well? I accept a lot of crap form this year, I've complained as much as anyone about the roster management decisions and the offences inability to get it going...but MOS and Walters? I don't know where that's coming from and don't but into it right now.
  3. But which coach? Ya'll blaming MOS when it's the coordinators making these decisions.
  4. Yeah, that sounds like BS. They have two different jobs making two different sets of decisions. Walters wasn't just sitting at home drinking coffee all year.
  5. That is such a generic thing to say though. Today, in this game, our starters did not win this game. Zach didn't sustain drives. Our D let CoFaj walk all over them.
  6. Yes. We ran it back after a 15-3 year. We did 14-4 and came up 4 points short. There are some things that hurt us and hopefully some quality recruiting shores those spots up.
  7. Yeah, sure. I just don't care about them mostly. Not what cost us today. Today was the failure of the starting crew. Our line is good enough. We have some up and comers to push. Our receiving core should be great. Our RB has been great. Our DL has the starters but we need to go back to rotating quality depth. Our LBs should be good if our depth takes the next step. We have an abundance of DBs. There's no one position group where we're too old. It's just a few guys who should be forced to earn their spots.
  8. I don;t remember, but it would make sense.
  9. Obviously we've taken advantage of some weak teams. 2021 was entirely because we brought back our Grey Cup roster while everyone else was staggering.
  10. Yes, they have to make some changes, but do you want to start a rebuild or reload?
  11. It's MOS himself. How old was he when he retired? And probably thought he could still do it.
  12. I feel like if someone said this to you pre-season, you'd give them the eye roll emoji. 14-4 and a Grey Cup appearance. Our stars did not rise to the occasion tonight. but we're one play away from winning. This is not a wholesale change kind of situation.
  13. No one can argue this point. We all said it all week leading up to the game.
  14. I just consider Thomas a guy, I think he's a part of the rotation at this point and, if he's back, isn't getting a number of snaps that's hurting us. IMO. Alexander is not what he once was, but isn't causing me to lose sleep either. Yes, I always want competition. But I don't think this is a team that needs wholesale changes. I don't want to cut everyone over 30 just because we lost the last game of the season.
  15. It's Buck's offense. I don't think I can accept that MOS is telling Buck who he needs to play, either. All I know is what we've always been told. That they communicate and dialogue about everything, The GM's job is to go out and get what the HC needs.
  16. It might be 50/50. I can see a couple vets retiring, I can see them coming back. Biggie is the only guy who's age and play has me concerned, I'd like to see a real competition along the OL next year. There's our kids in the pipeline who are ready or they're not.
  17. Will we pay them more than other teams?
  18. Just like Harris before him, I imagine the Bombers are hoping he'll gracefully retire so no awkward convos need to be had.
  19. If you're assuming there's no dialogue and MOS is just running things like a madman with zero input from the coaches and management around him.
  20. Maybe Biggie is getting paid more than I think he is, but I doubt it. You give Cole (or someone) a bump to take the starting job and what are you saving? Not enough to triple Schoen's salary. And that's besides the point of, is it a smart idea to invest 600k into two receivers?
  21. The only thing I really wanted this year was some depth and competition along the DL. I'd be bringing in lots of bodies. Haba would have never seen the bench, but even he was brought in last minute. There was just a dearth of competition this year. I don't know if we'll be able to re-sign Schoen, so receiver would be another big target. But that was really a last year thing to prepare for this coming year. The "big change" I would make is to move on from Bighill. I don't think I have the guts to move on from Collaros but I can 100% get the urge to. We were without a QB for decades and the only hope he ever had was the back-up; because the starter could never do the job. That seeps into people. I agree, but unless you got the next Ricky Ray hiding somewhere, it is what it is.
  22. I agree. Just articulating that the cap is still there and Walters wants his raise so it is a factor.
  23. I agree with all of that. Biggie and Schoen should have been riding the pine, 100%. Our offence still should have been able to win us this game. There were no excuses or roster management issues on that side, they just didn't perform.
  24. It is because MOS just got his big raise and now everyone else also wants their raise. Obviously not everyone can.
  25. No, the O was not good enough, at all.
