Willy hasn't shown the ability to even be half-decent in like two months.
Edit: Actually, I might be exaggerating a bit here, but there's no doubt that he makes a large amount of questionable decisions every game.

I really really don't understand why most people here are in love with Willy... He might have had the worst second half of a season I've ever seen from a Bombers QB.

Drew Willy had an absolutely awful, atrocious, dreadful, terrible, horrible game tonight.
Doesn't matter if the receivers are open or not, he needs to have the presence of mind to throw the ball away every now and then.

I think Willy is a little overrated on these boards... I don't see him as a clear-cut better option than Marve right now. There's just no way to know how good Marve can be until he gets a fair amount of reps.

We should pump the brakes on talking up a QB who's played essentially a half of football. Kid looks good, I'm excited, but projections off that small a sample are challenging.
While I agree that we shouldn't get our hopes up too high, it's not like these opinions are solely based on one half of football. He was a star in training camp, our best QB in pre-season (in very limited action of course), and has looked very good in practice all season.

I say that was one of the most enjoyable halves of football I've ever had to watch, just for the sake of a good old-fashioned blowout. Better to lose like that than to finish a game with no fingernails left and nothing to show for it. I too felt honored to have witnessed such a historic event in Bombers history.

Cordaro Law cut by the Chargers
That will piss off a lot of Chargers fans I'm sure. He had an excellent pre-season.

I'll be surprised if Sheets is back this season. He seems in a good position to grab the primary kick return job and/or the 3rd RB position.

From what I've read, Sheets seems to be doing quite well in camp so far. Raiders fans seem to think that he should be kept around as the 3rd or 4th RB.
Dressler should be cut shortly. Yet another unproductive game from him tonight.
Inman had 107 yards receiving in his preseason debut and should make the team. He has some value on special teams as well.
Muamba should also make the Colts. He was in on 11 tackles and forced a fumble in his preseason debut.

We only got 4 channels on the rabbit ears - CKND was on Channel 9, CTV on channel 7, CBC English Channel 6 and French channel 3. Then that Fox station started up on channel 12 but it was always pretty fuzzy so hard to watch. And we would wear an onion on our belt, as was the style of the time. And we only had yellow onions, because of the war.
Didn't you also get CityTV on channel 13? I know I did.

While I've never been high myself, I can certainly sympathize with those who feel pot should be legalized. There's a ton of people in my family who smoke weed, including my father, my brothers and sisters (some of which are working on their Ph. D's and Master's degrees, etc.), some cousins, some uncles and aunts, and every single one of them are positively contributing members of society. I'd consider marijuana MUCH less harmful than alcohol. In fact, my uncle cured his Lyme disease with pot butter, it's just a shame he had to do it in hiding.
It's really too bad that a largely harmless and extremely common drug may have to ruin Sheets' football aspirations, regardless of his otherwise shady character.

I think we have to make the most of our opportunity while Wylie is here. Give him a very good talent to work with and turn them into a solid O-Line this year. Just like what he did in 2007-2008 with LaBatte et.al.
We never know, NFL might come calling again next year and *poof* he's gone.
And in order to do that, we need to keep January around for the time being, because the rest of our O-line sucks absolute dogshit.

We only have one game left... I'd much rather see what Marve can do against Calgary than see Willy get killed in the backfield, in a meaningless game.
