55% of Canadians don’t really follow the CFL

How do cfl numbers compare to nfl numbers in Canada. ? Is the nfl games on Thursday and Sunday drawing like way more Canadians than the cfl does? Cuz young ppl like soccer and hockey. And Roblox and iPads and anime and things like this, comics are extremely popular. Card collecting. Shoe collecting. I’m not sure this draws any young person. Have Taylor Swift do half time at the grey cup.in Winnipeg. She’s a fan of Winnipeg (I have a pic of me and her when she wasn’t as famous but still famous ) and collaros and Kelce are buds so make it happen if you wanna draw the young ones. But this might work cuz some of the diehards are pissed and young ppl like pissing off older people.

He’s a good depth guy but can’t see him playing every game. I see Salo, Ville and miller being waived. Ville or miller will be claimed.

Josh Demelo Sammy pionk fleury miller Stanley Schenn salo heinola they will keep 7 maybe 8 d max. Salo is waiver exempt so he’s on the moose for now. so 2 more. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Schenn traded back to Nashville unless his family came here (doubt it) but if not 2 of Stanley ville (likely 1 of the 2) Schenn or miller will be waived also. Or traded. maybe 3 if they only keep 7 D.

Well more like for missing the net completely and putting it in the 5th row.

Right but nobody returns 1 kicked out of bounds so he can still return the short ones I guess. But moving the posts yeah, that’s about it. Can the legs and whytes kick 50 yd fgs now. Isn’t a 40 yard become 50 now? So 30 yards is now a 40 yd fg. Kickers will come up short.

No it’s not. It’s still there. He can return a miss for a TD but a miss won’t be worth 1 point if it sails through the end zone. Essentially eliminating the point given to missing the fg unless ball carrier trying to return (Vaval) is tackled in end zone. in my mind this ain’t significant at all and will draw no new viewers.

https://www.tsn.ca/cfl/article/cfl-announces-changes-to-playing-surface-modified-rouge/ don’t see anything overly terrible. 35 seconds clock running immediately is ok. The length is fine. Sucks for us cuz we kick 500 fgs a year. But it makes sense. Don’t hate the single being removed.

True enough. My bad. I’m not sure why I thought that.

Is there room in Hamilton Ottawa Montreal to change field dimensions. There is here. We hosted a pre season nfl game but the east?

O’Shea sees himself in Jake. A Canadian who has played a long long time. O’Shea didn’t go out on his own terms did he. Maybe he thinks Jake should. I think it’s probably that simple. It’s about having respect for the veteran but not having the heart to tell him it’s over cuz maybe O’Shea didn’t know when it was over for him. But he did release him years ago. Brought him back but did let him go so I’m not sure. Intangibles I guess. But I’m not sure we losing games cuz of Jake honestly. We losing cuz our O sucks.

I’m gonna be checking out a few moose games this year as the young daughter likes them so got a little mini pack. Plus obviously some jets games but moose pretty fun for the kids so I’m excited to see Yager chib salo lambo he Wagner in person.

Because it’s the cfl. That’s why. I think it’s likely revenue related. If it’s on field it’s replay RTP or something they could introduce today. Why announce changes when there’s 5 games left. Could be as simple as starting the season earlier even. Major on field changes being announced but then not implementing them until next season seems like a dumb thing right now. Why not wait till season over. If it’s on field it’s something they can introduce immediately without really effecting things. You can’t rip up fields In 4 days and I’m not even sure Hamilton and Ottawa have the room.

Then again normally when ppl announce significant changes it’s not with 5 games left so if it’s immediately implemented then it’s 100 percent replay related. It’s something to do with replay or roughing the passer penalties cuz honestly you can change rules all you want but a significant change is protecting the starting QBs cuz nobody paying to see backups play. Thats a league wide problem and would make sense. Or AI reffing.

Personally I think revenue is unique to each market. There isn’t anything they can do to all of a sudden make 30000 ppl go to game’s in toronto. Same with Calgary and whoever else not Winnipeg or Saskatchewan rules? There’s 5 or 6 games left. Field size? That is more work than people think and would cost money. 1 division actually might make the most sense here. Or it’s a merger but that ain’t gonna go well. I think going American when ppl dislike everything American right now would be the beginning of the end here. Read the room guys. We avoiding the USA. We don’t want to be them currently also what works here may not work elsewhere. Wade has created a social like environment centered around a football game cuz the soccer team ain’t drawing ****. Meanwhile in Toronto the soccer team draws but the cfl team don’t. We need a person who lives in torontos perspective to fix that mess.

What were the plays hogan called and which ones did Streveler deviate from. I mean play calling will never be good enough for ppl who don’t know what plays are called. But you can’t complain last week about play calling and then complain this week when what he actually called worked cuz we won the game. Streveler threw 1 interception. That is prob considered a win cuz he’s throwing one every few passes. Limit his passes and he doesn’t throw the game away like last week. Streveler sucks. Zach has never been as incompetent as Streveler was yesterday. Ever. Honestly that was the worst bomber QB ing I’ve ever seen. It might be worst cfl starting qb performance ever. I mean at what point do you realize Streveler just ain’t the guy. Take away the personality and he’s a shitty QB.

Doesn’t matter. No injuries to the actual Jets players is what matters. And in this game there’s maybe 5 or 6 Jets players. Fleury Miller Stan. Gus Barron Koepke Moose gonna be much improved this year tho and that was their goal actually. To give the kids (Chib lamb Yager etc) some talent to play with cuz last year was a mess.

Has the committee met tho. I don’t think so. Osh is on that committee isn’t he. I don’t see him approving that. But could explain his being more easily annoyed attitude recently 4 downs for a team with Brady wouldn’t be awful but… keep it Canadian. it’s revenue related for sure.

I’d suggest a streaming deal. Maybe YouTube. Won’t be rules cuz that’s a committee thing. Has to be something to grow the revenue. And rule changes don’t do that. could it be expansion or maybe I’m not sure it makes a difference but going to 1 division next year.

Maybe your boy Streveler is a dumbass or can only run 5 plays consistently

A small part of me hopes for the return of the Las Vegas posse so we can get another oh Christmas tree Canadian anthem. Canadians aren’t going to Vegas right now so let’s bring a part of Canada to them.

Young people watch on their phones but have to like sports and lots of young people don’t anymore. The zombie apocalypse ppl speak of is here and it’s ppl staring in to their phones he says while typing on his new iPhone he got 3 hours ago. People don’t become football fans. Your mom or dad are fans so you become one. Ppl don’t just become nfl fans either. It’s the same thing. 15 million viewers is great but USA has 300 million people. Significant amount don’t watch. And nfl viewing numbers have remained the same pretty much so it’s not like they are growing in the USA themselves. CFL should be proud to be the Canadian alternative to the nfl. We aren’t America so the cfl is pro here. Promote it as maybe being part of our Canadian heritage instead of becoming more Americanized which at the moment Canadians are avoiding the USA like the plague. Dumb move if going more American. That’s gonna backfire so much. Elbows up??

Amusing. People who pump up Streveler can’t accept he’s terrible now and will blame everyone almost but him. It’s hogans fault Streveler sucks. Stupid hogan letting Streveler throw last week, stupid hogan not letting him throw. honestly. Just amusing. The talent isn’t there on O. Demski pokey Brady. That’s it. And Streveler can’t pass a ball. What game plan actually makes Streveler look good cuz there’s no preparing for 2 weeks here anymore. Dude threw 8 passes and completed 3 and had an interception and a bad one at that. Poor read. I mean what’s the game plan that turns Streveler into a QB. Cuz right now he’s a dude who made a career out of 5 6 throws 6 years ago and has done nothing since.

You have to think if it was truly major changes then tsn carries the pc. Sportsnet might even. But nope. prob a big sponsorship deal? Maybe a deal with the nfl actually where each team gets a couple million bucks. No idea. Toronto has an agreement with buffalo. Us and Minnesota. I dunno. BC and Seattle. Buy 1 get one. Yeah. I dunno. Could be anything. Streaming deal makes sense since announced on their streaming service

imagine the tariffs on imports tho. Don’t see that happening. If it was that significant tsn would carry it.
