This team will start competing more when the reigns are handed over to the younger players. You'd think being swept in 4 a couple years back would show you its time to move on from some vets and transition to a younger team with a brighter future. Perreault Is NOT part of the core.

Vince and Punk get a long. Punk and HHH? Not so much

Once you realize the future is scheif Laine ehlers Connor and the young guys it will make moving on from Perreault who isn't a part of any core group a lot easier

Perreault is a victim of being paid 2 much. They probably see Connor in that 2nd line LW spot. 4.125 Is a lot for a 3rd line winger and the savings can go to little trouba ehlers Morrissey Laine etc cuz they ain't gonna be cheap

Unless Matthews misses a week or 2 due to injury he will play more games than Laine has. Matthews has currently played more games than Laine and the Jets have played more than the leafs do the games played factor doesn't help Matthews at all

WE WERE DOMINATED It's extremely rare for a goalie to have the better save percentage in the game and lose. Why? Because we only had 20 shots. Toronto almost had that after the first. Tire fire D. Why not keep Buff Chiarot and go Postma Morrissey. Stupid coaching cost us. More so huddy but putting out a gassed wheeler with Perreault and buff in OT didn't help

Just want to say... Props to Blake Wheeler calling out the DOPS today in an interview in Toronto at the rink. Quite the interview, Wheeler didn't really hold back at all. It's an interesting listen and should be available on the Jets site and on twitter for sure.

So after RAW went off the air, The Rock was out with "AJ LEE AND PAIGE" (2 actresses playing them in the movie they are making "fighting with my family") So they do what they do and then Rock decides to call CM PUNK... left a voicemail for Punk who was out walking his dog at the time, Punk made mention of this in a tweet earlier today, the whole arena chanted 'CM PUNK' 'CM PUNK'. Vince wasn't very happy with this and sent out a ref to tell ROCK to stop but Rock can well, not even pretty much, HE CAN do whatever he wants.

The pairings mean very little in my opinion.... I think what you will see eventually as the game goes on is Buff Morrissey and Postma getting the majority of the minutes, If it's a close game i think you see Buff Chiarot Postma Morrissey playing all the minutes with Stu and Melchiori sitting on the bench most the time. Regardless of what the opening game combinations are, i think Buff Postma Morrissey Chiarot each play over 20 minutes.
