My take. He didn’t see an instant path to the nhl here. If it started at development camp then must mean he saw all the other talent and thought he didn’t have a spot guaranteed to him. I’m wondering what happens when Pittsburgh eventually sends him to the A. He’s not a top 5 guy like Gauthier or Lindros for that matter. Lots of ppl think Mcg should have been drafted where lambert was and vice versa. If you go look at top 20 even top 30 in his draft, he wasn’t there. I like that they say Yager has a big shot or a Yager Bomb. I’d say he’s got Matt Barzal but better defensively upside.

I like Yager. Legit centre prospect. This is a solid trade. Jets have a ton of prospect wingers, not many true centers and wouldn’t be shocked if he’s our 2 center to start for a few games anyways as he’s 19. Same draft as Colby Barlow. Not Moose Eligible yet but is signed to ELC.

There’s a very real possibility that Rourke was a flash in the pan a few years ago and will never put up those numbers again. CFL has seen its fair share of QBs who look like they could be a big deal and then they are figured out and fizzle away. With all the hype he’s getting, I think it’s very possible he never lives up to it. Honestly when you got a guy saying he’s a top 20 QB in the world, you are setting him up to fail. Cuz he’s not a top 20 QB. He’s a top 41 QB in the world and not even the best QB currently in the cfl. If he’s top 20 then what the heck is Streveler cuz he actually dressed games in the nfl. I mean Chad Kelly and Streveler both dressed for nfl games. Are they top 20?

At what point do bc just acknowledge that the bombers are their daddy. it’s like Hamilton. We sent them into their downward spiral when we crushed them and the city of Hamilton and TSNs spirit when we beat them in Hamilton for the cup. At what point does this happen with BC. Yes this is true also. Tough to coach will and drive out of a guy tho. Still think with him it should be automatic a yard even 2 or less. Line ain’t it and the play calling don’t help.

We struggle mightily with short yardage so you know the line is a huuuuge problem. For years we had elite oline. This year we appear to be cfl average. Reality, we playing 3 Americans there and still struggling. Feel and felt the same. Zach getting sacked lots this year compared to previous years. Line is issue 1 2 3 4 and probably 5 as Big Stan isn’t not gonna be around much longer as a player

A better than average oline is missing. O also looks better when Lawler demski lucky all on field. With Wilson and Clercius To much Johnson on O. He’s a wasted spot. Like Jake on the DL. Just serves little purpose. Jake atleast Canadian right. It’s like running Augustine when Brady is average 7 yards a carry and only had 4 at half.
