As much as I would love to see him come here and run for 75 yards a game, throw a couple TDs and truck a few linebackers… if that can’t happen, this is the next best thing… bombers could bring him in as a “special guest” for the day and just get the stadium in a frenzy!

That's insane... it's like their just trying to get as far as possible while knowing they have no chance in the WF... a smart move would be to have moved on from those guys already and get the back ups ready to play...

I know a lot of people are hoping for another Bombers vs riders beat down... but after that sour taste of a loss to Calgary, I would really like to show those guys what our full line up looks like... they celebrated like they won the cup... plus I would never, ever cheer for the riders, so in theory, I'll be cheering for Calgary next week... I'll be at the game Dec 5... and I'll be cheering loud for the blue no matter who shows up to lose...

sometime people throw out rhetoric like "well we had 3rd and 4th stingers in the game"... which is impossible since CFL teams don't even have enough players for third stringers, nevermind fourth string... So that's why I was curious, exactly, who was in the game at that time.

I was heavily critical of McGuire after the Montreal game... and I still stand by it... but I also added the caveat I that expect the coaching staff to stick with him and I have confidence he can recover from this... I (and all of us) still have no idea if he will actually be any good... but you don't stick with a QB that long just to throw him away after one bad start.

Just out of curiosity… does anyone know which starters, specifically, were not playing on D at the end of the game?… I didn’t really get to watch much

Silver lining… people are starting to doubt the bombers now… good, I hope there’s a a lot of media saying “the bombers aren’t as good as we thought”… I want that to get our guys fired up…

If you saw him going at it with Mtl #1 at near the end of that last game... he definitely hasn't lost his edge... maybe lost a step or two, which tends to happen as you get on the wrong side of 30...

By default, I guess... they are 9-4, which by all accounts, makes it a good season... and no one really stands out as "the guy"... As much as I love Miller and think he's deserving... a good and consistent returner will always win the MOSTP award...

When I started going to games regularly in my teens... I loved the wave... I'm ok with it happening, I just don't like it...

I love how people always say "become a dad for the second time"... he was already a dad, you can only become a parent one time... he is just a dad of two children now... Anyways, I am really hoping/expecting that Zach will suit up for at least the first half of this week's game... as much as I want him bubble wrapped after McGuire's performance last week... I also don't want him going a full month without any live game action...

that was a huge positive from Saturday... he's been fairly quiet this year but he looked great getting a feature role... in 2022 maybe Thomas retires and Jeffcoat gets a big payday from the "no-cap" Argos... I think we'd be comfortable maintaining the ratio on the DL and starting Kongbo opposite Jefferson...

I’m not trying to say McGuire is garbage and we need to get rid of him… I was just hoping to see something, anything from him yesterday… did you watch McGuire yesterday and think “yep that’s a future starter!”… the o line he played behind yesterday is probably still better than half the other teams regulars… again I’m not ready to give up but he’s got A LOT of work to go… what I really hope is he gets in the second half against Calgary and does some damage…

1 - Collaros 2 - Collaros 3 - Collaros unfortunately this game confirmed what some have thought… this team (specifically the offense) is average, at best, without Collaros… I’ll concede a few things in McGuire’s defence: the weather was terrible, the o line was a little patched up, the mtl D is legitimately pretty good, it’s his first start… and I wasn’t expecting 80% completion with 300 yards and 4 TDs… but that performance was absolutely putrid… that’s was an Alex Brink level QB performance… his accuracy was abysmal, his reads were terrible, he had zero control of the game… even Caleb Evans looked competent in his first start… HH to Shaq cooper… with all that McGuire “accomplished” he may not have been the worst player for the bombers today… i don’t normally jump to quick conclusions on players but I’d be perfectly fine if Cooper was released immediately… absolutely pathetic performance for a guy who is supposed to be a cfl veteran… anyone still think Nelson is the worst returner on the team??

Disagree… I want all the starters to play, at least some, in the final game… I don’t want important players like Collaros, Jeffcoat, and Bryant going a full month without playing a game…

Interesting that receiver was 100% down… and they let him carry on for an extra 25 yards… and the broadcasters just pretended like he wasn’t down… am I missing something?

Actually, he didn't... he was iffy on it and conceded that "the DB in me doesn't like the call"... He didn't call it absolute garbage... but that's because it wasn't a Rider DB...
