Wonder what happened with Matt in T.O.......After his trip back there....crickets AND now the announcement today they have re-upped Bethel-Thompson...Is Matt out of the picture there???could he return to the fold...??

Sad news ...but when one door closes another opens....Now I hope to see what McGuire can really do and he gets the desired playing time

So nothing on the Willie front as yet...I've got a feeling he'll be back...I hope it's here, although you can bet there'll be someone out there driving up his price tag.....Kinda gone quiet on the Streveler watch as well...Could he also be back for another Cup run??...With 9 days to go there's going to have to be some movement on these guys one way or the other

If Adams isn't here...(I think we'll re-up him and he is in the group of best in the land) then I would pursue Walker....Couldn't get him last year and he went for big bucks back east BUT maybe we look a little more attractive now ,sporting a Cup win....I really like that little Tasker kid.. ..pretty reliable and a nice connection with Collaros...Failing that Lewis or Rhymes are intriguing...

Now that we settled the qb. situation...at least a part of it...cuz I still think Streveler will return to fill out the lethal combo we had...I like the idea of McGuire in the wings and that's a good thing...Matt will most likely see what's out there in fa BUT there's no doubt he would've preferred to remain here...Unless he's willing to reduce his ask, that probably won't happen soooooo it's likely Nichols is going to move on...We've sent a message today that our qb. situation has stabilized...now I'm waiting for some more key signings like Nevis and Willie if in fact he's returning to the CFL...Walters is definitely on his game so far

So the best kept secret is out....Buck Pierce is the OC.....according to third down....I think he'll do a great job and there's something to be said about continuity...Congrats Buck

Taylor was a very good re-sign....especially after losing a couple of good db's recently...I expect we should be hearing of a few more fa's re-upping shortly...Free agency isn't that far off

Geez we've been doing nothing but trying to destroy the thing....first we break it...then we almost lit it up....LOL....I think we should bring the cup back to it's rightful place...here in the Peg and lock it up for a couple of years...We don't want it looking shabby when they present it to us next year for sure

'Gimmick' QB.'.....to me that phrase does not give one the feeling of longevity at the position...'Well rounded' would be something you could see as more promising....Chris could be that 'well rounded' qb. in the CFL...in the nfl????big question mark..But all the luck to him

One thing that bothers me about Chris's tryouts....how is he performing at a 100 per cent and really showing his abilities to a prospective team down south....We know he was hobbled and you would think that this is still hampering him some what...Would an nfl team sign him and hope ....just go by video clips of his game up here....If I was management of a club wanting to sign him I would definitely be ...just say a little tenuous without seeing him at his best up close and personal before inking him to big dollars...Just curious

As well,,,does Streveler want to play another position orrrr is/was his dream always to be the guy behind centre ...I know some will say ...hey it's the money man BUT what is going on in Chris's mind ..especially if it means his dream of being a no 1 quarterback will most likely elude him down south...If the nfl looks at him as nothing more than a glorified running back, maybe that's something he will have to come to grips with...Could he become a very well paid qb. in our league eventually (reilly money) or is the draw of mega money down south just too strong...His decision and one I'm sure that has crossed his mind

At home against a suspect team in the Preds. and you can't notch a goal...What the hell are we paying for ....high priced players who are just cashing a cheque ...Something is going to give...Maurice...can you hear footsteps...they're coming ??
