Pretty much the same way the Stamps found him, keep an eye on smaller schools that don't go all in on the pre-programmed NFL model QB that give smaller QB's the chance to play and develop. The CFL has a long history of finding a place for this type of QB from Lancaster on up, while the preprogrammed NFL style QB's like Willy and Brohm can't adapt and flunk out.

Didn't seem like he yelled at them, simply told a camera man to "get out of my way", this was a few seconds before taking the field when he was trying to find space to throw a few quick warmup passes. With the huge zoom lenses they have on these cameras no reason to get up in the players faces or interfere with their movement at all.

If I recall correctly from an article I read, BLM was not getting much interest from the NFL when he was in College due to his height, only 6'-2". His agent, who also represents Nichols convinced him the best route to playing football soon was to go directly to the CFL and forego the NFL tryout circuit, which he did. That's why he's starter at 25, unlike most QB's that come up to the CFL after exhausting opportunities in the NFL for 2-3 years.

Sounds like Chungh might not be a free agent

They might want to ask Dressler about accepting deferred salary before they proceed. Riders screwed him royally. -
I thought Walters was quite forthright, the only thing I read into his presentation was an open disdain for the media held by many in the sporting community. I would categorize a few of his comments as nothing less than unnecessary cheap shots towards a media that has been quite supportive of his tenure. Kyle's mother should have told him, "if you don't want to be scrutinized, don't sign up to sing Ethel Merman show tunes."

First post 'expectations in '17'

As someone who watched the Jets leave Wpg. many years ago for a host of reasons including low attendance in a poor facility. I often wonder where all of this disposable income that people are now blowing on hockey comes from when I see MTS Center filled to the rafters night after night. Wpg. has not seen much growth in population over the last 20 years and it's economy has been steady but certainly has not improved in any significant way. It does look like a younger demographic filling the stands and perhaps in these times of low interest rates and easy money this generation is more inclined to spend their savings on entertainment than the previous generation was. Anyone have a good explanation? -
The Manny Show - Loffler was a hit
Fatty Liver replied to HardCoreBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
In the video of the Lion's locker room after the game Manny was sporting a crutch, forgotten in all of this hub-bub is that he twisted his ankle prior to his appt. with Dr. Loffler. -
We have no way to know for sure but you may be giving Walters too much credit for the personnel currently on the roster. The way Walters, O'Shea and Miller are connected at the hip I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't all share in the job of deciding which personnel to bring in. Add to that, LaPo and Hall's input as former H.C.'s and long-time members of the CFL fraternity and this team could easily have been formed by committee with Walters serving as the spokesperson. For example, in the case of Heath was it Walters sole decision to pursue that specific player or did Richie Hall tell him which DB he wanted most from the Argos.

Great video shot in the Lion's locker room after the game awarding the game ball. http://www.bclions.com/2016/11/13/all-access-gameballs-november-13th/ -
For maximum viewing pleasure watch the first half twice.

Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants if O'Shea jumped ship just when things started to turn around, especially after Walters supported him through two rough years of growing pains.
