  1. If you don't know what Florida is like in summer don't go, your body won't understand what's happening and it would take weeks to adapt.
  2. I don't expect Woli to be out long as they haven't even removed his name from the roster, but you never know.
  3. That might indicate they won't be pursuing Bailey any further, they could have cut Lucky quickly before he got further invested in the team, too bad as Rasheed would be a much better fit.
  4. Take into account injuries which have been substantial and unfortunate this season compared to seasons past.
  5. If you've ever observed a 2 year old fall down and lay on the ground it looks remarkably similar.
  6. His value was always clearly apparent, question is Bailey willing to sink as low as Roosevelt and Lucky to extend his career and prepared to be cut or relegated to the PR when the designated starters get healthy. Pokey Wilson will be a Bomber for at least 2 seasons, once his contract expires anything could happen.
  7. Not exactly, Kevin usually got to play a season or two for the teams that signed him.
  8. Both sides know Bailey won't be re-signed next season unless one of the five receivers with spots locked up is dealt away, which is a possibility. If he's signed at all it's as temp. help till the end of the season, it's now a game of Walters negotiating "how low will you go to extend your football career?"
  9. I'd bet a solid nickel the next HC of the Bombers is Mike Miller, circa. 2028.
  10. Haven't had a chance to re-watch the game and may not get to, how did you think Garbutt looked? In first watch he didn't make much of an impression. The Elks have some raw young DE's Kyle should keep an eye on for a trade. Would love to see some mid-season trades just to shake things up and put everyone on notice, change is coming to a football team near you.
  11. Where's the Ferrari when you need it? Probably in the shop!
  12. Until Rourke accepts he's not going to have an NFL career, he won't be playing anywhere soon. He might be able to string a few more contracts together but that's all he'll have to show for his football career, until he accepts playing in the CFL again. He might be able to pull off a Flutie and return to the NFL later in his career if he does very well in the CFL. It would be more logical for the Bombers to pursue interest in his brother, as he will also likely end up in the CFL.
  13. It happened to Mike Reilly, didn't want to struggle with adversity any longer and threw in the towel earlier than he probably had to. One year after he was gone the Nathan Rourke thing happened and BC became contenders, so it wasn't hopeless circumstances that did him in, it was his will to struggle onwards.
  14. No surprise, last season Zach lost to Crum, Powell, Dolegala and would have lost to Tre Ford if Brown hadn't intervened.
  15. Hard to say what they have in QB Wilson and we'll never find out if they keep him buried deep in a coal mine all season. Time for the scouts to do some leg work, can't just pick 1 or 2 QB's out of the bush every off-season and say "oh, I guess we're done". As badly as this season has gone so far, perhaps it's better they miss the playoffs and focus their efforts on roster renewal and replacement instead of desperately trying to squeeze in and getting annihilated in the first round by "YOUR SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS".
  16. The only GM gullible enough to take on Zach's contract is Pinball, the highest form of disaster could fall upon that man and it wouldn't even phase him. Bonus, nobody in MLSE upper management would notice either.
  17. Good time as any for Walters to flip Collaros back to Pinball in exchange for Arbuckle, freeing up plenty of capital to work with and convincing Pinball he's made a great trade which gives him the option to dump Kelly. Second part don't bother sending Arbuckle a plane ticket, when he inquires send the following response. FIOFO. Kyle
  18. No it had to be the one were Wilson was running full out across the field and Zach threw the ball 2 feet behind him.....in the rain. Don't even think he touched the ball, but no matter "his fault!"
  19. I think for a few years after he removed himself completely from the play calling on both offence and defence he became great at making and managing in game decisions. Notice with a season not going well there's a lot more stress present and emotions being displayed which is hampering his game management skills.
  20. Being a brand new HC from the defensive side Mace may not have that great of a grasp on how to kill off the last few seconds of a game and can't be sure how much help OC Mueller would be. O'Shea was pretty poor with in game decisions those first few years as well and made plenty of mistakes learning the ropes.
  21. Zach has never been a precise passer, he's more of an approximator, that's why he likes receivers that can adjust their routes to fit his passes.
  22. That would require a rejuvenation, unfortunately what little progress they achieved towards that end took a major detour yesterday.
  23. Because Strev. has shown no sign he can adapt or play a completely different style than he has with every rep. he's taken this year? A leopard can't change it's spots and I see no evidence Strev. can either.
