  1. Taylor said Younger invited him back earlier in the season when BA originally went down but he couldn't make it work with his job or family. He posted a video of a workout later on and Younger reached out to him again to see if he was still interested in playing, and they made it work. https://www.bluebombers.com/2024/11/11/in-my-words-nick-taylor/
  2. I think you're stretching his capabilities, granted Arbuckle was at the helm when the Argos beat the Bombers earlier in the season, but lord have mercy his average completion was 4 yds. 12/22; 87 yards; 0 TD; 0 INT A-DINK-A-DUNK-A-DINK-A-DUNK.
  3. I'm not convinced the Elks will renew Jarious Jackson but I guess that depends on who they appt. as their GM, even after Jones was fired, he didn't manage the QB situation all that well. Adding the asst.. HC title to Younger won't pad his pocket as the Bombers are already maxed out, unless the CFL does away with the administrative cap in the off-season and allows teams to spend what they need to retain staff.
  4. Have to wonder how long the Bombers can hold onto Jordan Younger, the guy is proving to have brilliant defensive mind and he has to be high on the list of any team looking for a brand new HC or HC/DC. Can't see him hanging around as a DC if he receives offers to double his salary, does he have any ties to Wpg? He's paid his dues on the way up now it's time for him to reap the green, once appointed a HC in the CFL the title can be milked for a solid decade in a multitude of locations. I'm preparing mentally for Richie Hall 2.0, coming sooner than you'd like.
  5. Nobody in higher places is going to say or do anything about Armstead's actions, the very mention of it is off-limits.
  6. Take a gander at the CFL transactions page today, plenty of action from the Bombers. Being moved to the PR after the season is over is not good sign of future prospects, but it could be an indication of the players desire to move on in a different direction and not an indication of the Bombers necessarily finding fault with their performance. Anyways, kiss a bunch of em goodbye. https://www.cfl.ca/transactions Jamal Wood PR Myron Mitchell 1 Game Brian Cole PR Vanterpol 1 game Owen Hubert FA Max Charbonneau FA Devin Adams PR Kyle Samson PR Jamal Parker 6 game Adam Bighill 6 game Tyrique Mcghee FA Jason Person 1 game Cam lawson 6 game Bryce Notree FA Drew Wolitarsky 6 game
  7. A new coat of red and white paint is about all they'll do, paint the entire stadium in stripes to dazzle the eye and hide the cracks.
  8. Cole moved to the IR, which I believe is a healthy scratch.
  9. I heard they were down around 3500 this season, don't know if that's true. All those filthy rich oil companies making bank and they can't sell corporate tickets???
  10. Isn't that the one Sergio kicked 6/6 FG's in?
  11. The horse's name must be Patience.
  12. In a city that doesn't care.... I can't imagine who in the Stamps org. was pushing for this.
  13. That's pretty much what they did in the BB, Zach repeatedly hit Brady swinging out of the backfield, good for 6/60 yds.
  14. One game, against the worst secondary in the league, can't sling the ball all over the field willfully in the playoffs. Against the best secondaries and smartest DC's they'll lay bait and converge on any deep throw that is contested, that's why you rarely see 400 yd. passing games in the playoffs, it's too risky and good D's won't allow it.
  15. Hopefully if Zach has learned anything from the last 2 GC cup losses, it's take what is given and don't risk forcing the ball downfield when there's nothing there.
  16. Was that under David Braley? I doubt they didn't have the money to pay him but were probably scared to go way over the cap and lose a draft pick. Times have changed in BC, no fear.
  17. Rourke is a talented QB, he should eventually get to a GC game, but it might be a "Mike Reilly like" journey were it takes over 5 years and a different coaching staff to get him there. Same is true for most CFL QB's that stay in one place long enough for a competitive team to be built around them.
  18. I don't think Biggie had practiced for many weeks before the GC last season, for Schoen it was 6 weeks. I hope BA can return for the WF, to my eyes Jake Kelly has been adequate in coverage but physically inadequate as his replacement.
  19. Haba on the outside looking in as a healthy scratch, this might be it for him.
  20. Jordan Younger might have a HC opportunity before Buck ever does, don't know if he ever crossed paths with Hervey as they both played for Edmonton, but maybe not at the same time.
  21. 3DN suggesting if Hervey is the new GM, Rick Campbell could be their next HC. Geroy could eventually find his way back to BC, as could Jarious Jackson.
  22. Don't know if that is Clercius, I would describe him as solid but not dynamic, which is ok, they don't need the same kind of longball receiver in every spot.
  23. Hmmm down the road maybe if they lose Lawler or Schoen, but he'll likely revert to backup again next season. Clercius likely replaces Woli in a year or two.
  24. Yah, and where are they now? You think the Bombers should go all in on Strev. as Zach's future replacement? How are they going to do that and what is it going to look like?
